  42. <p>The legendary film, featuring the late Robin Williams as frantic father Daniel Hillard, went to extreme measures after his divorce from wife Miranda (Sally Field), disguising himself as an elderly maid so he could spend time with his children.</p>
  43. <p>Lisa Jakub, 45, played Lydia, their oldest daughter, while Matthew Lawrence, 44, played Chris, their son, and Matilda&#8217;s Mara Wilson, 36, as Natalie, their youngest.</p>
  44. <p>Pierce Brosnan rounded out the roster as Miranda&#8217;s new love interest, Stuart Dunmeyer, with Chris Columbus directing.</p>
  45. <p>More than 30 years later, the Hillard children stunned us all with an unexpected reunion, foreshadowing an upcoming visit on Lawrence&#8217;s Brotherly Love Podcast.</p>
  46. <p>Jakub took to Instagram and shared a photo of their beautiful meeting with the caption: &#8216;The sisters had so much fun hanging out with the boys.</p>

  67. <p>Casting director Janet Hirshenson previously discussed how the film came to be, revealing that Williams, who unfortunately died in 2014, went above and above to assist young performers with their auditions.</p>
  68. <p>Speaking about the movie, she told us: ‘What was most fun was, I loved casting the children. We took all of our favorite children from LA to San Francisco to test with Robin, and Robin was so…. wonderful.</p>
  69. <p>‘He improvised all the time but these were little children, including five year olds and it was their test.</p>
  70. <p>‘He was trying so hard to keep on book, to help the kids with their audition.’</p>

  112. <p>This has resulted in intense scrutiny from admirers, as well as criticism from some for her changing appearance over time.</p>
  113. <p>In an honest interview with the Telegraph, Kristin said that some of the remarks about her usage of fillers had left her in tears.</p>
  114. <p>‘It’s hard to be confronted with your younger self at all times,’ she said last June. ‘It’s a challenge to remember that you don’t have to look like that. The internet wants you to — but they also don’t want you to. They’re very conflicted.</p>

  119. <p>‘I have done fillers and it’s been good, and I’ve done fillers and it’s been bad. I’ve had to get them dissolved and I’ve been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It’s very stressful.’</p>
  120. <p>Referring to the work she had done on her lips, she admitted: ‘No one told me it didn’t look good for the longest time. But luckily I do have good friends who did say eventually. The thing is you don’t smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people.</p>
  121. <p>‘It’s whatever. I can’t keep it up. I don’t have time. You’re trusting doctors [but] people personally blame us when it goes wrong – [as if] I jabbed a needle in my face.’</p>
  122. <p>In a subsequent chat with <a title="Entertainment Tonight" href="https://www.etonline.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Entertainment Tonight</a>, Kristin touched on the huge reaction her comments were met with, noting the ‘shame’ some women in the industry feel surrounding their use of fillers and Botox.</p>
  123. <p>‘I think part of the reason that people are not more open is because there is such shaming put on you largely by other women,’ she added.</p>
  124. <p>‘It’s so sad. We have enough problems as it is. We don’t need to shame each other. It’s so much a waste of time, but it does hurt.</p>
  125. <p>‘We’re doing the best we can do. Everybody is doing the best they can do, and everyone can make their own choices, right.</p>
  126. <p>‘But you don’t criticize everybody else for their choices, or their mistakes or whatever it is. That’s not helping you. It’s not helping them. It’s not helping anybody. It’s just getting clicks or whatever.’</p>

  198. ‘The court knew that I wasn’t going to my bankruptcy, because mentally – my consultant at The Priory – I’ve been signed off for any kind of activity for court.</p>
  199. <p>‘I’m mentally not strong enough at the moment to stand in court, be cross examined in front of the media, in front of the public.’</p>
  200. <p>The star, who declared bankruptcy for the first time in 2019, also insisted that she was taking this issue seriously.</p>
  201. <p>‘I am taking my bankruptcy so serious, like I do everything else. It’s a very serious situation I’m in and it does look like, “Oh she’s just gone on holiday”,’ she said.</p>

  436. <p>Protesters have returned to ITV&#8217;s annual meeting to voice their concerns about the situation.</p>
  437. <p>On Thursday in London, fans costumed as frogs urged the broadcaster to&#8217;stop tolerating animal torture&#8217; on the series, which has previously been recorded in Australia, South Africa, and Wales.</p>
  438. <p>Displaying a sign proclaiming, “ITV: It’s Cruelty to Animals … Get It out of I’m a Celeb!” the protesters informed board members and shareholders that using frogs, insects, ostriches, crocodiles, rats, and other animals in tacky stunts was ‘cruelty, not entertainment’, and that it ‘must end’.</p>

  448. <p>In 2022, Peta went so far as to call for broadcasters Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to quit, claiming they had ‘been complicit in animal cruelty now for 20 years’.</p>

  451. <p>The public letter read: ‘For too long, you have been complicit in cruelty to animals on the show, and it must end.’</p>
  452. <p>‘For 20 years, you have been complicit in the “Bushtucker trials”, standing by as animals of all descriptions are tormented – and even killed – for TV ratings. In this time, you must surely have become aware of the suffering, discomfort, and fear these unwilling participants endure during the challenges.’</p>
  453. <p>The group warned that ‘the longer you associate yourselves with this show, the more you send the message to viewers that you think animal abuse is not only acceptable but entertaining.’</p>
  454. <p>The letter then said that leaving the series would ‘signal to the show’s producers that people aren’t going to stand for senseless cruelty to animals anymore’.</p>
  455. <p>An ITV spokesperson said: ‘As a production, we comply with all regional and national laws concerning the use of insects, animals and reptiles.</p>
  456. <p>‘Welfare and safety is always the primary priority on any of our programmes and we inform the RSPCA NSW of all of our activities on the show and they have an open invitation to attend the site at any time.</p>
  457. <p>‘We have rigorous protocols in place to ensure that animals are handled safely at all times, before, during and after any filming has taken place, in compliance with all regional and national laws.’</p>

  496. <p>‘Yes, I did buy three billboards in Bristol to promote it and bugged you all in January to watch it again but that’s TV for you, so unpredictable.</p>

Six weeks of filming the series and we all still make time to see each other. We were nominated for a couple of RTS awards and the majority of the cast came to Bristol last Sunday.’</p>

  562. <p>The Arian Nik starring show isn’t returned for a second series either, with an ITV spokesperson saying: ‘Count Abdulla &amp; Ruby Speaking sadly won’t be returning for a second series, we’d like to thank the cast and crew for all their hard work in bringing these shows to our screens.’</p>

  608. <p>Don Gilet, well known for his portrayal of the wicked Lucas Johnson in the soap opera EastEnders, will replace the 44-year-old actor.</p>
  609. <p>He will portray Detective Inspector Mervin Wilson, who lands to the lovely island of Saint Marie from London and is not really delighted with his new surroundings.</p>
  610. <p>Detective Wilson will make his first appearance in a feature-length Christmas episode later this year, followed by a new series in 2025.</p>
  611. <p>However, as long-time watchers have pointed out, his casting creates a big narrative hole.</p>
  612. <p>Don did appear in the long-running series&#8217; season 4 opening in 2015, but as a killer.</p>

  615. <p>The episode, Stab in the Dark, featured the murder of a rum distillery&#8217;s owner during a séance, with Don&#8217;s character Andre Morgan finally revealed as the perpetrator.</p>
  616. <p>‘Wasn’t he a murderer in season 4? How they gonna explain that one,’ viewer Alice posted on X after the announcement.</p>
  617. <p>‘I don’t mind them recasting those who have been in it before, it just seems a bit weird having someone who was a murderer in the show before,’ she added.</p>

  683. <p>Ralf&#8217;s final appearance as DI Neville Parker occurred in March. The episode saw him ultimately sail into the sunset with DS Florence Cassell (Joséphine Jobert), who made her spectacular comeback to the series.</p>
  684. <p>It was a whirlwind of emotions as Neville was pushed to doubt his sanity in a twisting murder case and, more crucially, his life choices with Florence.</p>

  724. <p>On Friday, comedian James, 45, released a photo of himself and Ruth peeping over a script that read: Gavin and Stacey: the finale.</p>
  725. <p>Fans are overjoyed that it will be available this year.</p>
  726. <p>He wrote: ‘Some news… It’s official!!! We have finished writing the last ever episode of Gavin and Stacey. See you on Christmas Day, BBC One. Love Ruth and James.’</p>

  829. <p>Jeremy provided a further positive update: ‘The word is he’s on the mend.’</p>
  830. <p>‘That’s what we like to hear, there’s a few walls that fell down so we need him to be back at it,’ joked Kaleb. Jeremy agreed: ‘I know we do want him back.’</p>

  876. <p>The sitcom followed the lives of three Dafoe sisters, Hannah (Nicola Walker), Nina (Annabel Scholey), Rose (Fiona Button), and their mother Ruth (Deborah Findlay), all of whom are divorce attorneys.</p>
  877. <p>All of the female lead characters will return for The Split&#8217;s shocking two-part special, which will premiere later this year on BBC One and iPlayer.</p>
  878. <p>Set two years after the third season, the two-parter follows divorced Hannah as she considers finding love again at a stunning wedding in Catalonia&#8217;s wine region.</p>
  879. <p>According to the BBC, the special will encompass ‘break-ups, reunions and like all good weddings, plenty of romance.’</p>
  880. <p>Stephen Mangan, Ian McElhinney, and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith are among the new performers scheduled to return for the Spanish spectacle, which also stars Toby Stephens and the four Dafoe ladies.</p>

  926. <p>Last year, it was reported that the seven-part murder mystery novel series will be made into a TV programme for the streaming service, with British actor Arthur Hughes portraying Matthew Shardlake and Sean Bean from Game of Thrones as Thomas Cromwell.</p>
  927. <p>Following the devastating news of Samson&#8217;s death at the age of 71, just days before the programme premiered, fans have gone to social media to voice their thoughts on the adaption, with some claiming it is&#8217;very different&#8217; from the first novel in the series, Dissolution.</p>
  928. <p>Despite certain differences from the novels, the series has earned high praise from fans, with many taking to social media to express their delight.</p>
  929. <p>On X, @AmandaPCraig wrote: ‘Started #Shardlake @Disney. Gripped, both by the pace and period feel, and by the way its handsome hero is actually disabled – a most moving and faithful piece of casting.’</p>
  930. <p>While @eyemcd said: ‘Just watched Ep1 and it didn’t disappoint. Arthur Hughes is a brilliant Shardlake. Can’t wait to watch the rest of the series. Bravo everyone.’</p>

From the crappy CGI abbey, to the lead having a very 2000s haircut and beard, the production values felt very like a BBC kids show. No comparison to Wolf Hall so far.’</p>

  940. <p>Another fan remarked that they didn’t find the differences to be a bad thing. User @jack_sommers wrote: ‘Really enjoyed Shardlake and devoured it all last might [sic]. Very different to the book and better for it.’</p>
  941. <p>While fans have not specified what exactly they found different from the book, stars Hughes and Anthony Boyle – who portrays Shardlake’s unlikely partner, Jack Barak – told<a href="https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/drama/shardlake-book-change-jack-barak-exclusive-newsupdate/#:~:text=Hughes%20explained%3A%20%22I%20think%20one,%2C%20so%20much%20more%20interesting.%22" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> RadioTimes.com</a> that despite creating what they believe to be a ‘pretty faithful retelling of the book’, there is one significant difference.</p>
  942. <p>‘I think one notable difference is that Shardlake meets Barak much earlier,’ Hughes explained. ‘In the books he’s met in the second book, but his original companion in the first book doesn’t come back – that’s kind of it. And with Barak, their relationship is, I think, so much more interesting.’</p>
  943. <p>Series screenwriter Stephen Butchard also disclosed earlier this year that Mark Poer, Shardlake&#8217;s assistant in the first novel, had been removed from the series completely.</p>
  944. <p>Speaking to<a href="https://www.denofgeek.com/tv/shardlake-writer-explains-major-character-change-from-the-book/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Den of Geek</a>, The Last Kingdom and Baghdad Central screenwriter explained why they cut the character, stating: ‘If you’re looking for drama, Mark wasn’t the place to go.</p>
  945. <p>‘He serves a purpose in the book because there are a lot more internal things you can do in a book, but when you want something on screen, you very much need two people to butt up against each other. It felt the correct thing to do from a dramatic point of view.’<br />

  947. Despite the change seemingly upsetting some fans, it’s one that Samson likely would have welcomed.</p>
  948. <p>During a 2010 interview with <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2010/nov/15/cj-sansom-interview" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">The Guardian</a>, he said he ‘soon realised Mark wasn’t going to be a successful character’.</p>
  949. <p>‘He was a bit wet, really; I had to get rid of him. And I enjoyed creating Barak, whom I like enormously. He stands up to Shardlake; they’re very different but they get on despite their quarrels.’</p>
  950. <p>Shardlake is set in the Tudor era of 1536 and follows lawyer Matthew Shardlake, who is asked by Henry VIII&#8217;s right-hand man, Thomas Cromwell (played by Bean), to investigate a murder at Scarnsea abbey.</p>
  951. <p>Teaming up with legal clerk and investigator Jack Barak, the two quickly understand there is more to the story and become embroiled in a labyrinth of lies, deception, and corruption.</p>

  1059. <p>While they may appear to be worlds apart, many well-known figures have found satisfaction in rural living.</p>
  1060. <p>Instead of excited admirers posing for selfies, they now have animals ready to eat their grains, and they are pleased with their decision.</p>

  1066. <p>After years of playing a farmer on Emmerdale, the actor decided to take the role seriously. He purchased a 120-acre farm in Wincle, near Macclesfield, and settled with his wife Liz and four children.</p>
  1067. <p>The pair enjoys everything about their country life, including the trials.</p>
  1068. <p>‘With each passing day, as our family grew, so did our love for farming,’ they explained. ‘Despite the challenges that came our way, we embraced every moment with open arms, cherishing the experience wholeheartedly.’</p>
  1069. <p>Kelvin said: ‘At the moment, we’re farming with enthusiasm and real scope. Lavish ideas, to think that this is the life for us, but it’s that sense of variety that certainly keeps me upbeat and engaged.</p>
  1070. <p>‘One minute at the Olivier Awards, the next minute mucking a pig pen out! That’s the variety. I know it wouldn’t be for everybody, but that’s what I love. And for me, it’s a way of life.’</p>

  1074. <p>Groove Armada&#8217;s one-half sold song rights to support a farming career and is now dumping fertiliser instead of beats.</p>
  1075. <p>He has even began working with Jeremy, so expect to see him in season three of Clarkson&#8217;s Farm.</p>
  1076. <p>Andy opted to pursue a rural job after reading an insightful essay in 2006. He started modestly, cultivating vegetables in his garden while living in France with his wife Jo and their two children. Five years later, Andy sold his songs to buy a 100-acre property in Gascony, France.</p>
  1077. <p>While he calls it a &#8216;completely foolish mistake, financially speaking&#8217; (according to the Irish Independent), he has no regrets. &#8216;I support it in terms of living a life doing things that I believe are important, and I work with incredible people and have a varied range of experiences. I am the richest person in the world.</p>
  1078. <p>Andy now collaborates with former TV presenter George Lamb on the regenerative farming firm Wildfarmed, following a fortuitous encounter in Ibiza, and they&#8217;ve partnered with Waitrose, Franco Manca, M&amp;S, ASK Italian, WatchHouse Coffee, and Jolene to bring sustainable flour to the high street.</p>

  1143. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>James, a Race Across The World contestant, almost lost his spot in the competition after experiencing every traveler&#8217;s worst fear &#8211; and fans were stunned.</p>
  1144. <p>The 21-year-old sales consultant has paired up with his sister Betty, 25, for the hit BBC travel programme, which features pairs travelling across countries without internet and on a shoestring budget.</p>
  1145. <p>However, when on way to Lombok, having begun the challenge in Japan, James experienced every traveller&#8217;s greatest nightmare: he almost lost his passport.</p>
  1146. <p>Betty and James had stopped on the side of the road in Cambodia&#8217;s capital, Phnom Penh, to look at the map and decide on the best route to the next checkpoint in Thailand, deciding to proceed through Battambang.</p>
  1147. <p>After making their selection, they boarded a tuk-tuk, only for James to discover that he was missing his bumbag, which held his passport and all of his Cambodian currency.</p>
  1148. <p>They quickly urged the driver to stop so James could get out and go down the street to see whether his luggage was still there.</p>

  1159. <p>However, as James investigated the contents, he became concerned since he discovered that one of his items was missing.</p>
  1160. <p>Betty stayed cool, but informed the producers that if James&#8217; passport was lost, they would have to withdraw from the competition since they would be unable to enter Thailand.</p>
  1161. <p>Viewers were astounded to learn that James nearly lost his passport, with one viewer, Caroline, telling X how &#8216;worried&#8217; she would be in his place.</p>
  1162. <p>‘Yikes!!’ wrote Lindsay, who commented how ‘awful’ it would have been if the passport had disappeared for good.</p>
  1163. <p>‘I’d have the money belt and passport glued to my body 24/7,’ @FlopsyPickle remarked.</p>

  1171. <p>‘Thank God James still has his passport,’ wrote Pete, while Daniel added: ‘Good on the thieves for leaving the passport at least. Considerate I say.’</p>
  1172. <p>In another scene from the programme, Eugenie, 60, and Isabel, 25, a trainee clinical scientist, argued.</p>
  1173. <p>Teacher Eugenie told the producers: ‘It’s actually starting to get to me today. It’s the little digs and all the rest of it and being with Isabel 24/7 I don’t even get any space emotionally from it.’</p>

  1222. <p>Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, the busiest men in show business, opted to step away from the work to spend more time with their family, but when they do have time in their schedule, they have a name ready.</p>
  1223. <p>Their firm, Mitre Studios, has applied to trademark the name Belta Box. Belta is a term used mostly by northerners to characterise something pleasantly.</p>
  1224. <p>They applied to trademark the term in April for use on television, radio, publications, books, clothes, and the internet.</p>
  1225. <p>This follows the filing of a trademark in November for Taste Mates, a digital series in which they cook and dine together. Belta Box is often described as a digitally focused endeavour.</p>
  1226. <p>A TV source told The Mirror: ‘Everything <a href="https://www.mycelebritylife.co.uk/tag/ant-and-dec" title="and and dec" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Ant and Dec</a> does turns to gold and this is sure to be another success.’</p>

  1368. <p>Cameras have been following the former Top Gear star, 63, since he decided to try his hand at farming after purchasing land in the Cotswolds several years ago.</p>
  1369. <p>However, he has recently clashed with his local council, which has rejected proposals for additional parking and the establishment of an on-site restaurant.</p>
  1370. <p>However, a councillor for West Oxfordshire District Council, who represents the area in which Jeremy&#8217;s farm is located in Chipping Norton, has resigned after furious Clarkson&#8217;s Farm fans began targeting him.</p>
  1371. <p>Dean Temple, 46, was the sole representative for the Chadlington and Churchill wards and had opposed several of Clarkson&#8217;s plans, including his proposal to open a restaurant serving local produce.</p>
  1372. <p>He has now resigned, admitting that the abuse from disgruntled TV viewers was &#8216;one hundred percent&#8217; responsible for his decision.</p>

  1375. <p>Cllr Temple told<a href="https://www.dailystar.co.uk/tv/clarksons-farm-viewers-urge-local-32707196" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> The Daily Star</a> then when he made the decision to stand for the role, he was told the ward was ‘a nice quiet place where nothing ever happens’, however that quickly changed after the planning rows with Clarkson.</p>
  1376. <p>‘All of a sudden I was getting calls, death threats and from all over the world,’ he said.</p>
  1377. <p>He is now standing down and seeking election in nearby Witney.</p>
  1378. <p>Last year he told the<a href="https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/23350212.west-oxfordshire-councillor-hit-abuse-jeremy-clarkson-fans/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Oxford Mail</a> that he had an inbox that ‘can only be described as a cesspit’.</p>
  1379. <p>‘I’ve had abuse from all over the world. On the messages I have received I have tended to ignore those that are aggressive, nasty or contain outright allegations of “corruption”, “backhanders” and “you just don’t like him”.<br />

  1478. <p>The critically acclaimed comedy, starring Kelsey Grammer in the title character, began in 1993 and has remained a television mainstay ever since.</p>
  1479. <p>The original sitcom, a spin-off of Cheers, lasted for 11 seasons before being cancelled in 2004, with a revival airing at the end of last year.</p>
  1480. <p>It presently airs on weekday mornings in the UK, although fans have noticed that the season 11 episode, High Holidays, is always missed without warning.</p>
  1481. <p>In the episode in issue, Niles (David Hyde Pierce) is disappointed that he did not rebel as a teenager and buys a cannabis brownie to compensate.</p>
  1482. <p>However, his father, Martin (John Mahoney), unintentionally consumes the dessert before replacing it with a regular brownie, unknowingly becoming stoned in the process.</p>

  1488. <p>Channel 4 has not revealed the reason for the suspension, however it might be due to scenes portraying drug usage.</p>

  1494. <p>Stirccrazed suggested: ‘They don’t usually show High holidays – the one where Freddie is a goth. Probably not allowed with the drug references at that time in the morning.</p>

  1555. <p>While we wait for Millie to take on the job, we may witness her as the Time Lord&#8217;s companion.</p>
  1556. <p>Millie, a former Coronation Street actor, appeared as Ruby Sunday in Doctor Who&#8217;s Christmas special, and her first full series (number 14) will premiere later this month.</p>
  1557. <p>There was conjecture that Millie was dismissed from her position before the debut of another new companion, played by Andor actress Varadha Sethu.</p>
  1558. <p>Russell T Davies<strong> </strong>commented on the situation: ‘It’s tricky because you can’t answer online rumours. Sometimes they’re lies, sometimes they’re true. Sometimes they’re false, sometimes they’re just exaggerations.’</p>
  1559. <p>It’s been confirmed that Millie’s character Ruby will return for the 15th season of Doctor Who, alongside Ncuti Gatwa and Varada.</p>
