  35. Used mine this morning, properly for the first time since buying it before Xmas. Combined with a 4000 size reel and 5lb Drennan feeder line, I used a 25g Drennan pellet method feeder filled with damp micros annd a natural wafter hook bait. Only a short cast of about 25 metres.<br />

  93. It&#039;s supplied with 1/2 oz and 1oz glass tips and a 1.5 oz carbon tip, but so far I&#039;ve only used the 1 oz tip.<br />

  95. The cosmetics seem good quality and understated, the blank is very light and slim, the cork handle is short.  Many won&#039;t like the screw up real seat, but it hasn&#039;t bothered me so far.<br />

It is often worse after a day on the bank getting wet and windblown. I&#039;ve tried various moisturisers, barrier creams, etc. to no real effect.   276.      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="bbWrapper">I recently bought a Drennan acolyte plus 13ft rod as I found my current 14ft rod too heavy for trotting all day.  I was attracted by the quoted weight of 150g but when I got the rod it was 160g.  Still light compared with my previous rod but 10g higher than reported.  On looking carefully at the advert it said 150g <b>on average</b>.  Trouble is that when you read reviews on this rod, they all say the weight is 150g and leave out the average bit, so that is what you expect.  I get annoyed...<br />

There isnt much information out there on this rod review wise so i thought i would post in here sessions i have used it on.  Being sponsored by korum i am not going to write a review as its a lose lose situation rather let the sessions i used it on speak for themselves and give anyone interested in buying this rod some live footage of it in action in two very different scenarios<br />

  319.      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="bbWrapper">I&#039;ve had this rod for a couple of weeks now and have used it half a dozen times.  When I first looked at this rod they were being sold for &quot;full retail&quot; prices of between £210 and £250 depending upon where you looked.  When Bobco discounted them to £125 it was an absolute no-brainer to get one and here are my first impressions.<br />

  321. It&#039;s a beautiful slim, crisp blank with a 22 1/2  inch butt that is short enough to easily move around the body while fishing.  The butt has MAPs rubberised non slip...<br />

It adds an inch to the height compared to my old Rive seat which is ideal as the previous configuration was giving me pain in a knee cap after a few hours of sitting with level thighs, a massive improvement regarding comfort, and the added bonus of the drawer under the seat no longer sticks when sitting down...<br />

  349.      <content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class="bbWrapper">The Drennan 50 inch specialist Brolly is exactly as advertised- it’s a brolly, all be it a very good one that should last an owner a good twenty years plus.<br />

  351. It does not fall into a day shelter category simply as it does not have side wings/flaps, hence why it’s called a brolly as it can be used upright off a box/chair if required using centre pole.<br />
  352. The colour is a nice dark olive green with one simple Drennan badge that sits at front on top unlike some of the horrendous advertising vessels...<br />
