33.
Two young spring breakers turned themselves in to police Friday after a viral video showed them throwing trash cans full of trash into the ocean while boating off the Florida coast last weekend.

 34.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission announced that a 16-year-old and a 15-year-old boy were recently hit with third-degree pollution during a boat trip for polluting the waters off Boca Raton, Florida.

 35.
“The two juveniles turned themselves in to authorities and faced consequences for violating laws related to pollution of the waters of the state of Florida,” the FWC said in a statement, according to WPBF.

 36.
The sickening video, shared by YouTuber Wavy Boats, captured the moment a boat filled with several teenagers left Boca Bash’s wild party scene and made the short trip out to sea to the quick dump.

 37.

The two teenagers turned themselves in to police on Friday because they threw trash into the sea last week. Wavy Boats / YouTube

 38.
Drone footage showed the 16-year-old boater allegedly holding on to the boat’s canopy while bouncing awkwardly in the air as the boat exited Lake Boca from the bay and entered the open water.

 39.

 40.

 41.
The boat was then met with heavy waves when two full trash cans were thrown overboard by the boat’s “captain,” the 16-year-old, and his shirtless colleague.

 42.
After the cans were emptied, one of the Knuckleheads briefly raised the cans above their heads to celebrate as the boat was rocked by the waves.

 43.
State wildlife officials condemned the teen’s behavior, calling her actions a “serious crime.”

 44.
“Illegal dumping of trash in our marine environment is a serious crime, and we have worked closely with the Palm Beach County District Attorney’s Office to determine appropriate charges. Callous disregard for Florida’s environment will not be tolerated. This is a teachable moment for everyone involved – Florida’s natural resources are precious and we should all do our part to protect them,” FWC Chairman Rodney Barreto said in a statement.

 45.

The teenagers were arrested for third-degree environmental pollution after last Sunday’s incident. Wavy Boats / YouTube

 46.
Law enforcement officials identified the boat’s owner and visited him at home, who confirmed to police that his 15-year-old son, seen in the video, was piloting the boat, according to People.

 47.
“We take the responsibility to protect our oceans and our community very seriously and are extremely saddened by the events this past weekend in Boca Bash,” the family said in a statement, according to WPLG. “We would like to sincerely apologize to everyone who was affected and rightly upset by the incident.

 48.
“Our family and attorney have been in contact with FWC since they first contacted us and have continued to cooperate with all authorities.

 49.

The young people left behind a trail of rubble after illegally dumping rubbish. Wavy Boats / YouTube

 51.
“As a family, we agree with FWC Commissioner Rodney Barreto that this is a teachable moment for the young children involved and that they should definitely get involved in community service and marine conservation efforts to deepen their understanding of the importance of our community and environment.”

 52.
The teens faced a fine of up to $50,000 and five years in prison.

 68.
The Upper West Side’s Rodeph Sholom community, located at 7 W. 83rd Street near Central Park, was evacuated after police received a report of a bomb threat around 3:15 p.m

 70.
Police confirmed that the threat was unfounded.

 71.
Another threat — which also turned out to be false — was reported at the progressive, LGBTQ-friendly Congregation Beit Simchat Torah at 130 W. 30th Street.

 72.

 74.
There was no one in the synagogue at the time and the threat also turned out to be false, police said.

 75.
Then, at 5:15 p.m., the Brooklyn Heights Synagogue on Remsen Street also received a bomb threat.

 76.
Three employees were evacuated and no explosives were found, police said.

 78.
Another bomb threat was reported 15 minutes later at the Brooklyn Museum, an art museum in Prospect Park, Brooklyn.

 79.
According to police, the threat once again turned out to be false.

 80.
It is unclear at this time whether there is a connection between the threats and is still under investigation, police said.

 81.
Earlier police reports that Chabad of Midtown had also received a threat were later found to be unfounded.

 82.
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said in a statement that her office was aware of the threats and was “actively monitoring” the situation along with law enforcement.

 83.
“Threats have been found not to be credible, but we will not tolerate individuals sowing fear and anti-Semitism,” she said. “Those responsible must be held accountable for their despicable actions.”

 84.
Mark Treyger, CEO of the Jewish Community Relations Council [JCRC] of New York, told the Post that the bomb threats were a “dangerous escalation” of anti-Semitism at a particularly sensitive and tense time for the city’s Jewish population.

 106.
While he thanked the governor, mayor and NYPD for being in constant contact with faith leaders, he said the level of security they endured to safely practice their faith was “not normal.”

 122.
The American surfers and Australian brothers found dead during a surfing vacation in Mexico were likely killed when they refused to hand over their car to a trio of car thieves, according to a report.

 123.
The bodies of Jack Carter Rhoad, 30, and brothers Callum, 33, and Jake Robinson, 30, were discovered next to their burned white pickup truck nearly a week after they disappeared from Baja California province.

 124.
Authorities suspected the idyllic trip turned tragic when local bandits approached the men while they were at their beach camp at a popular surfing spot called La Bocana.

 125.
“As they attempted to access the vehicle, the victims opposed the robbery. The robbers were armed with a firearm and apparently shot the victims,” Baja California chief prosecutor María Elena Andrade Ramírez told 7News in Australia.

 132.
Mexican officials have not officially confirmed that the three bodies are those of Georgia resident Rhoad and the Robinson brothers, but said there is a “high probability” that they were executed.

 137.
Police later arrested Jesús Gerardo Garcia Cota, alias El Kekas, his partner Ari Gisel García Cota, and Jesus’ brother Cristian Alejandro Garcia in connection with the men’s disappearances, but were not charged with murder.

 174.
A Bronx-based funeral home chain accused of exploiting customers for years did such a poor job that it once presented a dead man’s body for viewing “sitting in a plastic bag,” the city’s consumer protection agency said.

 175.
At least 48 customers have complained about RG Ortiz Funeral Home in the past five years, including one who said his loved one smelled like decay and another who said his grandson’s eye “wouldn’t stay closed, himself.” “Constantly opened and moved during the inspection,” according to the Ministry of Consumer and Employee Protection.

 176.
RG Ortiz violated city code and owes its customers an unspecified amount in compensation, the DCWP alleged in documents filed against the company with the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings (OATH).

 177.
The chain is also accused of refusing to tell families where their loved ones’ remains were; improper handling of bodies; Misrepresent or hide prices and fail to provide paid materials and services,

 178.
The company has eight different funeral homes throughout the five boroughs, serving primarily Spanish-speaking communities.

 179.
Returning remains to families often took much longer than RG Ortiz stated, the city said.

 182.
A woman was told she would receive the cremated remains of her five-month-old baby within two to three weeks, but it ended up taking two to three months, according to the OATH petition.

 183.
Another customer was told he would receive his father’s ashes within three weeks, but reportedly had to wait nine months to receive them.

 184.
A grieving family claimed the Bronx funeral home lost their sister’s remains and sued the chain in 2018.

 185.
The Post previously reported that the funeral home botched four funeral services in a matter of hours and even presented a casket with the wrong person inside.

 297.
However, two news outlets, Border Report and FOX 5 San Diego, citing a source in the Baja California attorney general’s office, say the bodies are those of the three missing surfers.

 418.
“The Godfather” actor Gianni Russo, who lives five doors down at 249 E. 61st Street, where the crooner and the famous actress lived together, said Sinatra would definitely ring his doorbell.

 420.
“Whenever they argued, he would come over for a drink and spend the night at my place,” Russo, 80, told The Post.

 421.
“He cried and said, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing.’ This guy was a crybaby, not the image we know of him. He assumed the fetal position on my couch and fell asleep.”

 424.
Russo, who played Carlo Rizzi in “The Godfather,” was 14 years old and working as an errand boy for Mafia boss Frank Costello when he first met Sinatra at Copacabana, and they remained friends until his death in 1998.

 425.
Russo said he went through “so many romances” with Sinatra and never understood his friend’s attraction to Farrow.

 426.
“I don’t even know why he married her. She is like a boy, she has no body, she has nothing,” he said.

 428.
The “Rosemary’s Baby” actress was married to Ol’ Blue Eyes from 1966 to 1968, but remained his lover after that – even when she was in a relationship with director Woody Allen.

 429.
Hollywood long speculated that Ronan Farrow, born in 1987, was actually Sinatra’s child.

 432.
In a 2013 interview with Vanity Fair, Mia Farrow was asked directly about Sinatra’s possible parentage and she replied coyly, “Possibly.”

 433.
Russo, who named Sinatra godfather to his son Luciano, said Ronan’s uncanny resemblance to the “My Way” singer was undeniable.

 434.
“That must be his son. Nobody has eyes like that,” he said.

 435.
Russo, who is from Little Italy, and Sinatra, who is from Hoboken, New Jersey, shared the same birthday but were 28 years apart.

 436.
That didn’t stop them from going to nightclubs together, even though Sinatra was married.

 437.
“When he was with me, he cheated on me,” he remembers.

 438.
“He went out with Judy Garland. She had an apartment on 72nd Street and he was dating her. He went out with Marilyn Monroe.”

 439.
Sinatra, who was married four times, couldn’t be single “because he was so insecure,” according to Russo.

 441.
The friends were drinking buddies, but when Sinatra – who drank Jack Daniels by the bottle – indulged, a darker side emerged.

 442.
“The guy was bipolar. When he started drinking he thought he was six feet tall,” he said.

 443.
He could also be depressed.

 444.
Russo claims that Sinatra tried to kill himself when he found out that his then-wife Ava Gardner, to whom he was married from 1951 to 1957, was cheating on him and left him – and went to the apartment of William Morris talent agent James Woods in on East 72nd Street Do it.

 445.
“Thank God his neighbor was home because there was a smell of gas coming from Woods’ apartment,” he said.

 448.
Martin Scorsese is in talks to direct a Sinatra biopic about the “violent, sexually charged and hard-drinking Frank.”

 449.
Russo doesn’t think Leonardo DiCaprio is a good choice for the title role.
