The group set out from Jomtien Beach towards Koh Maravichai on May 1st, 2024.</p> <p>Following the discovery of their empty boat near Koh Si Chang, a search operation was initiated. The individuals, Adrien Simon (38), Mehdi Benchoula (47), Vincent Ferrer (30), and Stefan Stauat (32), were found unharmed on Koh Maravichai the following day.</p> <p>The rescue mission involved several local agencies, including the Pattaya Tourist Police and Pattaya Marine Rescue Volunteers. Subsequently, the four men were safely transported to a nearby beach in Sattahip in good health.</p> <p>Mr. Simon detailed that the group had engaged in diving and fishing activities off Koh Maravichai, leaving their boat anchored. Unfortunately, the boat became untethered and drifted away during their absence. Law enforcement officials discovered her body near the swimming pool with apparent gunshot wounds on her left temple and wrist.</p> <p>An automatic firearm, bullet shell, glass of vodka, sunglasses, and cigarettes were discovered near the body, alongside signs of a gunshot in the villa’s door. It was a pool maintenance worker who stumbled upon the scene and alerted the authorities upon discovering Delacote’s lifeless body and alarming pool of blood.</p> <p>Before her passing, Delacote had transferred a sum of 500,000 baht to Nutwalai for her funeral expenses, indicating a thoughtful gesture towards her loyal maid. While Nutwalai suspected that her employer had taken her own life due to the messages she had sent prior to the incident, including her intention to leave her assets to the maid, she mentioned that Delacote had not mentioned anything about suicide despite revealing her battle with cancer.</p> <p>The firearm found at the scene was acquired by Delacote following a burglary at the villa, as per Nutwalai’s account. The payment, they claimed, had to be in cash, and they were not informed of its purpose or usage.</p> <p>In response, the NACC devised a plan to apprehend the school official using marked banknotes. Immediately after the transaction was completed, police and the NACC approached the suspect and charged him with wrongfully demanding, accepting, or agreeing to accept a bribe under Section 149 of the Criminal Code, and wrongfully exercising duties as a state official under Section 157.</p> <p>Further investigation revealed information on his computer indicating involvement in other bribery cases with parents. Police officers, accompanied by rescue personnel, promptly responded to investigate.</p> <p>Upon arriving at the scene, a townhouse, they encountered a 30-year-old American named Mr. Murphy. He was yelling incoherently, damaging household items, and scattering them throughout the house. Blood stains adorned the walls, while blood-soaked knives, golf clubs, and various other items were strewn about. Mr. Murphy himself bore a severe stomach wound from glass shards, while Miss Khanittha, his girlfriend, sustained bruises and cuts from the golf club assault. Her 16-year-old sister, also injured by the glass, managed to summon help from the maid and friends. Images of his visit circulated on two prominent local Facebook pages: Phuket Info Center and Monsoongarbage Thailand.</p> <p>One photograph captures Thaksin exchanging greetings with a local resident. Reports on the Facebook pages suggested that Thaksin’s visit aimed to promote tourism in Phuket, renowned internationally as a paradise island.</p> <p>Despite claims of severe illness leading to his parole, Thaksin’s appearances in Phuket and other venues post-release raised doubts about his health status. His Bangkok residence, Chan Song La, hosted numerous prominent figures, including current Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin and former Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen.</p> <p>Thaksin also made two visits to his hometown province of Chiang Mai, once a stronghold of his party, Pheu Thai, which is now led by his youngest daughter, Paetongtarn.
