From April 9th to 14th, 2024, Funnylicious Theater in Bratislava will host a remarkable gathering of improv talent from the Visegrád countries and beyond.</p> <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Uniting for a Cause</strong></p> <p>“V4 Improv Connect” centers around a 6-day retreat from April 9-14, 2024, providing a comprehensive platform for theater/ improv actors, trainers, and leaders to enhance their skills, share knowledge, and build lasting partnerships. Improvizácia si vyžaduje schopnosť počúvať, byť prítomný v danej chvíli a autenticky reagovať na každú situáciu. Tieto zručnosti nielen pripravujú mladých hercov na javisko, ale vybavujú ich aj cennými životnými zručnosťami, ktoré im dobre poslúžia v akejkoľvek oblasti, ktorej sa rozhodnú venovať.</p> <p>Ďalšou výhodou improvizovaného tréningu pre mladých hercov je zvýšenie sebadôvery, ktorú dostávajú. Improvizácia si vyžaduje rýchle myslenie, spontánnosť a ochotu riskovať. Prostredníctvom improvizácie sa deti a dospievajúci učia dôverovať sebe a svojim inštinktom a budujú si dôveru vo svoje schopnosti na javisku aj mimo neho.</p> <p>Ale možno najvýznamnejším prínosom improvizovaného tréningu pre mladých hercov je možnosť popustiť uzdu svojej kreativite. Improv umožňuje mladým hercom preskúmať svoju predstavivosť a rozvíjať svoj jedinečný hlas. Podporou kreativity a sebavyjadrenia umožňujeme mladým hercom, aby sa stali sebavedomými a sebavedomými jednotlivcami, ktorí dokážu zvládnuť akúkoľvek výzvu, ktorá im príde do cesty.</p> <p>Vo <a href="http://funnylicious.eu/">Funnylicious Theater</a> veríme vo výchovu celého človeka. The 2% represents a portion of the tax that you or your company has already paid. If not allocated, they automatically remain with the state. Donating 2% of your tax incurs no additional costs.</p> <p class="has-small-font-size"><em>Did you know?</em></p> <p class="has-small-font-size"><em>If you pay your taxes in Slovakia, you can allocate 2% of your annual income tax to a non-profit registered in Slovakia – with no extra cost to you!</em></p> <p><strong>Tell me more about the 2% tax donation.</strong> The Slovak income tax law allows individuals and companies that pay taxes in Slovakia to donate 2% of their income tax to a charity or non-profit registered in Slovakia. It’s an initiative of the Slovak government to encourage individuals and companies to support local NGOs. If you choose not to give your 2% annual income tax to an NGO, it will automatically go to the state budget.</p> <p><strong>Why should I donate my 2% income tax to Funnylicious?</strong></p> <p>We’re glad you asked. Here are just a few good reasons:</p> <ol><li>We’re the only multicultural, immigrant-led improv theater in Slovakia. Our contribution to the local performing arts scene is enormous.</li> <li>As the largest and only improvised community in Slovakia, we provide improvisation courses for children, teenagers, and adults, as well as workshops for companies focused on business improvisation. Celebrated for our improv performances, we are now branching out to include both improvised and scripted theater. We’re eager to find versatile talents ready to explore a variety of genres and styles.</p> <p>We’re seeking:</p> <ul><li>Performing artists (all skill levels): Eager to shine in both improvisational and scripted performances.</li> <li>Actors and Acting Students (all skill levels): Eager to learn and grow and ready to excel in improv and scripted shows.</li> <li>Musicians, Theater Staff & Volunteers: Including stage managers, set designers, light technicians, dramaturgs, keyboardists, and general volunteers to join our creative team.</li> <li>Community Members: Individuals from minority and marginalized groups who dream of performing on stage and are committed to rigorous training and practice.</li></ul> <p>Benefits of Joining Us:</p> <ul><li>Free Training: Hone your skills with top-notch training in both improv and scripted theater performances.</li> <li>International Exposure: Perform in our home theater and at various improv festivals across Europe.</li> <li>Growth: Successfully trained performers can become regular cast members with a share in future ticket sales.</li> <li>Creative Diversity: Be part of a variety of shows, working with actors from around the world and expanding your artistic range.</li> <li>Shows in Slovak and English: Our future repertoire includes shows in both Slovak and English, open to local and international actors based in Bratislava.</li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul><li>Rehearsal Commitment: 2-3 times weekly, including some weekends.</li> <li>Performance Dedication: Commitment to our theater for the 2024-2025 seasons.</li> <li>Language Skills: Minimum English level A2 for team collaboration. Preslávení sme našimi improvizovanými vystúpeniami a teraz sa rozširujeme o improvizované aj napísané divadlo. Tešíme sa na univerzálne talenty, ktoré sú pripravené preskúmať rôzne žánre a štýly.</p> <p>Hľadáme:<br>Umeleckých interpretov (všetky úrovne zručností): Tí, ktorí sú nadšení zažiariť v improvizovaných aj napísaných predstaveniach.<br>Hercov a študentov herectva (všetky úrovne zručností): Tí, ktorí sú ochotní sa učiť a rásť a sú pripravení vynikať v improvizovaných a napísaných predstaveniach.<br>Hudobníkov, divadelných pracovníkov a dobrovoľníkov: Vrátane inspicientov, scénografov, technikov osvetlenia, dramaturgov, klaviristov a všeobecných dobrovoľníkov, ktorí sa pridajú k nášmu tvorivému tímu.<br>Členov komunity: Jednotlivcov z menšinových a marginalizovaných skupín, ktorí snívajú o vystúpení na javisku a sú odhodlaní intenzívne trénovať a cvičiť.</p> <p>Výhody pridania sa k nám:<br>Bezplatný výcvik: Zlepšite svoje zručnosti s prvotriednym výcvikom v improvizovanom aj napísanom divadle.<br>Medzinárodná expozícia: Vystúpte v našom domácom divadle a na rôznych improvizovaných festivaloch po celej Európe.<br>Rast: Úspešne vyškolení účinkujúci sa môžu stať pravidelnými členmi súboru s podielom na budúcich tržbách z predaja vstupeniek.<br>Kreatívna rozmanitosť: Staňte sa súčasťou rôznych predstavení, pracujte s hercami z celého sveta a rozširujte svoj umelecký rozsah.<br>Predstavenia v slovenčine a angličtine: Naša budúca produkcia zahŕňa predstavenia v oboch jazykoch, otvorené miestnym aj medzinárodným hercom so sídlom v Bratislave.</p> <p>Požiadavky:<br>Záväzok k skúškam: 2-3 krát týždenne, vrátane niektorých víkendov.<br>Oddanosť vystúpeniam: Záväzok voči nášmu divadlu na sezóny 2024-2025.<br>Jazykové zručnosti: Minimálna úroveň angličtiny A2 pre spoluprácu v tíme.
