I have run three 10K races in recent months & my times were 48, 49 & 51 respectively. I am on week 9 of a 16 week training programme. I can now run 8 minute miles when doing Fartlek training for 5 or 6 mile sessions. I am averaging four sessions per week. This week I ran 33 miles. My long run of 15 miles took 2 hours 11 minutes with me averaging 8 minutes 48 seconds per mile.
