39.
Storyline

 40.
Synopsis:

 41.
An epic that details the checkered rise and fall of French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and his relentless journey to power through the prism of his addictive, volatile relationship with his wife, Josephine.

 42.
Plot:
In 1793, Napoleon Bonaparte witnessed the beheading of Marie Antoinette during the French Revolution. He managed the Siege of Toulon and suppressed the royalist insurrection in 1795. Napoleon married aristocratic widow Joséphine de Beauharnais, but they had no children. Napoleon's victory at the Battle of the Pyramids in 1798 led to his overthrow of the Austrians and Russians in the Coup of 18 Brumaire.
Napoleon was crowned Emperor of the French in 1804, and he defeated the Austrians and Russians at the Battle of Austerlitz. He married Marie Louise of Austria, who had a son one year later. In 1812, Napoleon invaded Russia and prevailed, despite guerrilla resistance. He returned to France after losing about half a million men. In 1814, the Coalition forced Napoleon's abdication and exiled him to Elba. In 1815, Napoleon returned to power in France after Joséphine's death. He was later exiled to the island of Saint Helena, where he wrote memoirs and presented a version of history where he was always right.
Napoleon died in 1821, and an epilogue notes that roughly 3 million people died in his wars.

 90.

Movie Title: News of the World (2020)
Tagline: Find Where You Belong.

 91.
Storyline

 92.
Synopsis:
A Texan traveling across the wild West bringing the news of the world to local townspeople, agrees to help rescue a young girl who was kidnapped.

 93.
Plot:
Captain Jefferson Kyle Kidd, a former Confederate 3rd Texas Infantry commander, reads newspaper stories for ten cents in Texas communities in 1870. Kidd finds the black freedman driver hanging on an overturned wagon after leaving Wichita Falls. He also encounters a white woman in Kiowa boots and clothes who only speaks Kiowa. Kidd discovers Johanna Leonberger, whom Kiowa abducted and adopted six years earlier, via the girl's documentation. The freedman gave Johanna to her aunt and uncle when Union Army soldiers dispersed a Kiowa camp. Kidd is told by a Union Army patrol to carry the girl to a roadside checkpoint for Union officials. Kidd must comply.

Kidd hears in town that the outpost's Bureau of Indian Affairs officer would be gone for three months. After Johanna escapes with a band of Native Americans during a storm, Kidd returns her to her family in Castroville, 400 miles away, instead of leaving her with Simon and Doris Boudlin. Ella Gannett, an old acquaintance who operates a Dallas inn, speaks Kiowa and informs Kidd that Johanna's adoptive Native American family was killed, making her "an orphan twice-over." Through translation, he discovers her Kiowa name is Cicada. Three ex-Confederate soldiers assault Kidd and Johanna the night after reading the news to acquire Johanna. Kidd leaves with the girl, but the guys pursue him in the jungle. Kidd kills the thugs despite being outgunned when Johanna proposes using work dimes as shotgun ammunition.

Farley, a racist cattle baron who mercilessly evicted all non-whites from Erath County, leads militiamen who capture Kidd and Johanna on the border. Kidd's narrative of a Pennsylvania coal mine disaster incites his workers to revolt instead of Farley's propaganda. Kidd and Johanna escape the brawl but are arrested by Farley and his thugs. Johanna wounded Farley with Kidd's shotgun as he prepares to shoot him, and John Calley shoots Farley's other henchman after Kidd's comments.

Kidd loses control over a steep incline, damaging their wagon and killing their horses. Walk Kidd and Johanna. After a blinding sandstorm and heat, Johanna acquires a horse from a wandering Kiowa. Kinder and Johanna reach the Leonberger homestead thanks to this gift. After chatting, Kidd reluctantly leaves Johanna with Aunt Anna and Uncle Wilhelm. Next, he visits his wife Maria's mausoleum at San Antonio, who died of cholera five years ago in the Confederate Army. After leaving Maria, Kidd discovers Johanna is family and rides back to apologize.

While empathetic, Anna and Wilhelmn tied Johanna to a pole to prevent her from leaving. After Kidd learned Kiowa, Johanna was delighted, so they let her go.
Johanna helps Captain Kidd joyfully introduce Johanna as his daughter to a large audience.

 113.
Storyline

 114.
Synopsis:

 115.
Two movie producers who owe money to the mob set up their aging movie star for an insurance scam to try and save themselves. But they wind up getting more than they ever imagined.

 116.
Plot:
Producer Max Barber is in substantial debt to mobster Reggie Fontaine following the failure of his most recent film at the box office. James Moore, a rival producer, offers to mitigate his debt by offering $1 million for a script for a film entitled "Paradise," which Max holds the rights to. Max reluctantly consents, but his decision is reversed when he accidentally observes the death of movie icon Frank Pierce. Subsequently, Moore receives $5 million in insurance proceeds.

Max realizes that he can pay off his debt and complete Paradise. Consequently, he resolves to produce a new film solely to take off his lead and collect the money. Max and his nephew Walter Creason persuade the despondent Western protagonist Duke Montana to become the protagonist of their forthcoming project after they encounter him in a convalescent home. Nevertheless, Max's initial strategy of igniting Duke on the first day of filming is unsuccessful.

 117.
Max's subsequent attempts to end Duke's life by collapsing a bridge and having him assaulted by a bull also fail. Max recognizes that they are truly filming a quality film after viewing unedited footage; however, his most recent plan to assassinate Duke renders him unconscious. Walter reprimands him upon his awakening, with the realization that he has been attempting to murder Duke throughout the entire time. When Max discloses that he has not utilized his own funds but has borrowed an additional $1 million from Reggie, they both come to the realization that they must prevent him from murdering Duke himself.

Reggie and his goons promptly appear during a shooting scenario and attempt to murder Duke. Max appeals with Reggie, who ultimately agrees to allow them to complete the film after Walter presents them with the unedited footage. Duke, however, discovers the truth and momentarily reverts to suicidal behavior; he nevertheless completes the film, which is released to great acclaim.

 184.
Storyline

 185.
Synopsis

 186.
A 1950s London cleaning lady falls in love with an haute couture dress by Christian Dior and decides to gamble everything for the sake of this folly.

 187.
Plot
In 1957, Mrs. Ada Harris, a widowed cleaning lady in London, develops an obsession with a client's haute couture Dior dress and yearns for a matching garment. After receiving an unexpected war widow's pension, she travels to Paris in an attempt to acquire one. André, the Dior comptroller, and Natasha, a Dior model, befriend her after she accidentally attends a presentation of Dior's 10th-anniversary collection. Nevertheless, Claudine, the Dior director, feels resentful of Ada's intrusion into the exclusive realm of haute couture and initially declines to take her as a client.

 188.
Ada is fortunate in that Dior has encountered financial difficulties, and the company ultimately consents to take a commission in exchange for cash payment. Ada attempts to arrange for a red dress; however, a prominent client obtains it prior to her, necessitating that she settle for a different design in green. In Paris for measurements, she lodges with André and motivates him to convey his affection for Natasha, who shares his interest in existential philosophy. Ada organizes a strike and compels Claudine and Christian Dior to consider André's proposals for modernizing the business after Claudine terminates several Dior employees for financial reasons.

Ada's garment is returned to London. Pamela, a struggling actress, borrows it from her and wears it to a social engagement. It is destroyed by fire. The red dress that Ada had originally desired is sent to her by her Dior friends after the buyer fails to pay, after they read about it in the newspaper. The garment is donned by Ada for a dance.

 216.
Storyline

 217.
Synopsis

 218.
After a heroic job of successfully landing his storm-damaged aircraft in a war zone, a fearless pilot finds himself between the agendas of multiple militias planning to take the plane and its passengers hostage.

 219.
Plot

 220.
Former RAF pilot Brodie Torrance pilots Trailblazer Airlines Flight 119 from Singapore to Honolulu via Tokyo, carrying 14 passengers and 3 cabin crew members. The travelers are headed to Canada and include RCMP/GRC officer Louis Gaspare, a suspect in a murder investigation that is still active.

 221.
But the plane's avionics are destroyed by a lightning strike, which results in turbulence and an emergency landing on Jolo Island in the Philippines. David Scarsdale, the airline's crisis manager, sends a private military force to New York City to save the passengers. The last rebels are subdued by Brodie and Louis, who also make them divulge their hiding place. After killing the guards, they smuggle the crew and passengers into a bus.

 222.

 223.
Junmar's soldiers suffer significant losses as the rescue party approaches. The airline doesn't have enough backup funds to bargain their way out, so they can't send in an official crew to remove them from the island for another twenty-four hours. Together with Samuel Dele, his copilot, Brodie successfully starts the aircraft and gets everyone onboard for departure. Louis defeats Junmar's soldiers while Scarsdale's squad positions a Barrett M82 anti-materiel rifle for more firepower.

 224.
Despite his wounds, Brodie manages to accelerate the aircraft to its maximum speed, enabling it to lift off safely and strike Junmar with its wheels, killing him. Despite having little fuel and too much damage, Brodie is still able to land the aircraft on the nearby, friendly island of Siasi.

 256.
Storyline

 257.
A Christmas gift workshop is run by Chris Cringle and his wife Ruth on an ancient, remote farm close to North Peak, Alaska, a tiny village. Since Christmas is a significant economic boost, the US government, which retains an interest stake in Chris's firm, begins to reduce its subsidies as he struggles with diminishing revenue over time as a result of youngsters becoming more aggressive. US military Captain Jacobs is dispatched to offer a two-month contract for creating jet fighter components in order to make up for Chris's lost income, but the proposal is flatly rejected. Chris's concerns are disregarded by the liaison agents, who suggest that the government's subsidies would probably drop the next year. Chris reluctantly agrees to their offer only this once when Ruth is able to lift his spirits.

 258.

 259.
Living with his old money grandma, Billy Wenan is an amoral and poisonous youngster who is the epitome of a wicked child, doing countless heinous deeds against individuals he views as inferior. Billy gets a lump of coal from Chris on Christmas Eve. Furious, he vows retaliation and sends his own hitman, Jonathan Miller, to kill Chris. A fierce childhood enmity between the two men, Miller begins a murderous rampage that ends when he follows Chris to his private residence after waiting for him to pick up his mail from the Postal Service. After following Chris to the farm, Miller assassinates the US Army soldiers and enters the workshop, when an elf employee sounds the alarm. Before Miller murders him and detonates the workshop, Jacobs is able to evacuate the employees.

 261.
Chris battles Miller and prevails, but Miller uses a concealed blade to injure Chris and then shoots him in the head, killing him. After that, Ruth murders Miller, and Chris gets well from his wounds. Going back on Miller's assignment, Chris and Ruth visit Billy and stop him from contaminating his grandmother's milk in order to hide his check forgeries. Furious, Chris acknowledges that he has become slack in his handling of kids like Billy and threatens to come for any aggressive kids at night if they don't stop hurting others. With fresh hope for the future, Chris, Ruth, and the elves set about reconstructing the workshop at the farm, making it larger and better.

 293.

Movie Title: Breach (2020)
Tagline: Deep In Space They Are Not Alone.

 294.
Synopsis

 295.
A hardened mechanic must stay awake and maintain an interstellar ark fleeing the dying planet Earth with a few thousand lucky souls on board… the last of humanity. Unfortunately, humans are not the only passengers. A shapeshifting alien creature has taken residence, its only goal is to kill as many people as possible. The crew must think quickly to stop this menace before it destroys mankind.

 296.
Storyline

 297.
In 2242 A.D., 300,000 survivors of an extinction-level disaster board the Ark to go to New Earth. Noah impersonates a junior janitor on the Ark while his pregnant girlfriend Hayley is restrained. An old janitor, Clay, mentors Noah. The parasite infects seasoned crew members Blue and Shady. Noah worries Clay is creating a bomb. Clay shows Noah how to make moonshine.

 298.
To honor their loved ones, workers celebrate spontaneously that night. Noah promises to slaughter on New Earth. Ortega leaves the party to watch Blue welding alone. Blue kills Ortega. Clay discovers Noah's girlfriend is Admiral Adams' daughter. Stanley discovers Shady's decomposing body and accuses Blue of murder. Stanley's security detail catches Blue attempting to get into the admiral's quarters. Clay finds Ortega's body. Blue leaps and kills a security officer with a neck bite. Stanley and Teek must shoot Blue. Chambers autopsies Blue. Teek watches the webcam feed and sees Shady's death and Blue's sickness. Chambers claims Blue is hollow and the ship has a parasite.

 299.
Chambers discovers Noah is a stowaway, so Stanley grabs him. After solid defense, Clay frees Noah. Stanley is slain by the three reanimated crewmen as the survivors plan. After Chambers injures the remaining infected, Teek, Clay, and Noah escape. The newly infected Stanley unleashes the infected and unlocks the crew's quarters, which quickly infest. Clay guides survivors to the arsenal. Clay suggests using a flame thrower as Chambers cannot discover a weakness in the infected. Flame throwers start fire suppression, blocking vision. Lincoln rejoins the group as the infected carry Teek into the mist. Clay races to rescue Teek. Lincoln suggests escape pods when Teek and Clay return, but Teek prefers the security bay.

 300.
Lincoln escapes in a pod but is killed offscreen. Stanley grabs Clay as they lock themselves in the security bay. Noah shoots Stanley before he infects Clay and locks the door. With 84 days till the Ark reaches New Earth, survivors battle to defend against the sick and rescue passengers. Clay takes Noah via ducts to the Admiral, who they believe will rescue them. Noah meets the Admiral, and Teek informs Clay and Chambers that he is responsible for everything and a revolutionary against New Earth repopulation.

 301.
After waking his security force, the Admiral advises deploying harder weapons against the sick. The infected break inside the security room, killing Teek. Clay and Chambers defeated them. Blue collapses from cleaning fluid droplets after following Noah. The Admiral's security force is overpowered. The Admiral shoots himself up with a grenade as Noah reports his findings, killing the infected. Chambers and Clay think it's over, but body parts rejoin.

 302.
This mutant is stronger, and the infected enter the reactor core. At Clay's moonshine stash, Noah explains the cleaning fluid's effect and the team strengthens weaponry. The infected overheat the reactor while planning their attack, lowering arrival time. Chambers believes the parasite was manipulating them to reach the reactor core, while Noah believes it wants to kill the last 50 million New Earthers and the ship's passengers. Travelers become sick. Clay sends Noah to rescue Hayley, and they reach an escape pod as the mutant attacks. The alien's first attack kills Chambers, and Clay is defeated and dies resisting.

 303.
Noah and Hayley seek for the remaining escape pod, but Noah splits to launch. Weapons weaken creatures. Clay texts Noah as he departs the bridge. Noah and Hayley flee as Clay self-destructs the Ark. As they leave the escape pod on New Earth, Noah and Hayley find another infected individual and a jet fighter fighting a huge monster. Film ends with Noah lifting his weapon and saying "Burn 'em all".

 328.

Movie Title: Maleficent (2014)
Tagline: Don't Believe The Fairy Tale.

 329.
Storyline

 330.
Synopsis

 331.
A beautiful, pure-hearted young woman, Maleficent has an idyllic life growing up in a peaceable forest kingdom, until one day when an invading army threatens the harmony of the land. She rises to be the land’s fiercest protector, but she ultimately suffers a ruthless betrayal – an act that begins to turn her heart into stone. Bent on revenge, Maleficent faces an epic battle with the invading King’s successor and, as a result, places a curse upon his newborn infant Aurora. As the child grows, Maleficent realizes that Aurora holds the key to peace in the kingdom – and to Maleficent’s true happiness as well.

 332.
Plot
A strong fairy, Maleficent lives in the Moors, a mystical forest realm bordering a human kingdom. She falls in love with Stefan, a human peasant lad, as a child. As they age, Stefan's love is eclipsed by his desire to be king, while Maleficent protects the Moors. King Henry retreats when Maleficent mortally wounds him while trying to conquer the Moors. Henry says on his deathbed that whomever kills Maleficent will rule and marry Leila. Stefan drugges Maleficent but cannot kill her, so he cuts off her wings as "evidence" of her death.

 333.
Maleficent turns Diaval, a caged raven, into a human to save him from a farmer while digesting the treachery. Diaval promises to help and announces Stefan's coronation. Maleficent and the Moors she defends turn dark and bitter once her wings were gone. Later, Diaval tells Maleficent about Stefan's daughter Aurora's christening. Maleficent enters unexpectedly and curses Aurora: before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday, she will prick her finger on a spinning wheel spindle and fall asleep.

 334.
Maleficent mocks Stefan's appeal for forgiveness but suggests that true love's kiss can break Aurora's curse, which she and Stefan believe does not exist. Stefan orders Knotgrass, Flittle, and Thistlewit to hide and safeguard Aurora in a forest cottage until her sixteenth birthday. He destroys every spinning wheel in the kingdom and hides their remnants in the castle dungeon before sending his army to kill Maleficent, who surrounds the Moors with thorns. Stefan obsesses about slaying Maleficent and goes insane, refusing to visit his wife on her deathbed.

 335.
Maleficent and Diaval watch Aurora grow and discreetly take over her care from the unskilled pixies. Aurora becomes close to Maleficent, whom she calls her "fairy godmother," after repeated encounters and begins visiting the Moors. Maleficent quietly and unsuccessfully seeks to break the curse to avoid hurting Aurora, forgetting she said "no power on earth" can. Aurora encounters Philip, a neighboring kingdom prince, later and is moderately attracted to him. Aurora gets Maleficent's permission to dwell in the Moors the day before her sixteenth birthday. When she tells the pixies, they reveal Aurora's curse and genealogy.

 336.
Aurora rides to her father's castle, heartbroken. Stefan, still planning Maleficent's murder, locks her in a chamber. Aurora is drawn to the dungeon by the curse and falls asleep after pricking her finger on a restored spinning wheel spindle. Maleficent and Diaval kidnap Philip and infiltrate Stefan's castle to save her. The pixies nudge Philip to kiss Aurora, but it does not wake her. Maleficent tearsfully apologizes to Aurora and kisses her forehead when they leave. Maleficent loves Aurora like a mother, waking her unexpectedly. Stefan and his guards attack Maleficent, Aurora, and Diaval as they escape.

 337.
Maleficent turns Diaval into a dragon to help her, but both are subdued. Aurora unleashes Maleficent's trapped wings, which rejoin and help her fight back. Maleficent brings Stefan to the top of a tower, where she refuses to murder him and leaves, but Stefan assaults her from behind and pulls them both off. She saves herself with her wings, but he falls to his death. After Stefan leaves, Maleficent restores the Moors and crowns Aurora queen, uniting the kingdoms. Aurora also dates Philip.
