49.
Are you a UX designer capable of front end development work too?
50.
51. Our new platform needs a strong creative UX designer to help us test new user sign up flows ahead or scaling up our marketing channels.
52.
53.
54. About our company:
55. Vintage Cash Cow is the first and only fast, fair and simple way for people to sell a large range of vintage items and previous metals online.
56.
57.
58. Job overview:
59. - Mobile-first user sign up journey prototype needed for testing.
60. - At this stage I need speed over efficiency so we can quickly test a new sign up flow and iterate based on performance.
61. - I need someone who can take our ideas and mock ups and provide their views on them ahead of implementation.
62.
63. Some high level notes on the sign up flows......
64.
65. Existing sign up flow
66. a) User's complete a 2 step form with their information
67. b) On the thank you page we ask them to arrange a time for a phone call with us
68. c) We call the user at the set time. If no time selected, we call anyway.
69. Notes:
70. - The phone call is a critical step which I can explain when we speak.
71.
72. New sign up flow
73. a) Users begin a process of telling us what they have
74. b) Users enter their name, email and phone number
75. c) We get back to them within 1 hour
76. d) If our response is positive we let them know their items qualify for the service and we then arrange the phone call
77.
78.
79. Notes:
80. - Variations of a: a1 Photo upload | a2 Multi select check box | a3 paragraph text entry box | a4 conversation chat bot
81. - Users sent an email and SMS when we've reviewed their enquiry
82. - If out of hours, we explain that we'll get back to them within one working day
83.
84.
85. Our thought process here is that more people will be happy to tell us about their items before they've had to share details. It allows us to give a positive response about their items before arranging the call.
86.
87.
88. There are some other considerations around the new flow:
89. a) Many users will not be ready to upload photos the first time they discover our site. How do we capture some info and allow them to return later
90. b) Some users will part complete the photo upload and may want to add more later. Not something we're too worried about for a first test but it needs to be considered.
91.
92.
93. Development
94. - I am open to suggestions for how we implement this but it's vital that we first focus on speed and can easily produce new variations for testing.
95. - The end goal will be to have this user sign up flow implemented on our main site.
96. - We will host the site on a sub-domain of our main site
97.
98.
99. Attached
100. - Example flow we've drafted ourselves to help explain what we're thinking.
101. - Internal UX Research doc
102.
103.
104. Sound interesting? If you want to work collaboratively on a fast paced project then let's talk.
105.
106. The next step will be a quick phone call where I can share a bit more with you and answer your questions.
107.
108. Thanks
286.
Hallo, Hi,
287.
288. I am looking for a native or extremely advanced (you have lived in a German-speaking country for many many years) speaker needed to transcribe 9 interviews totaling approximately 113 minutes. There is possibly a 10th interview coming too, I will, of course, reimburse this.
289.
290. It is very important that your German is near-native level because the interviews contain a lot of code-switching/ "Denglish" (a mix of German and English) and all people interviewed are non-native speakers with varying levels of German. Each interview is with 2 people in a fairly quiet setting, but sometimes with background noises during interruptions.
291.
292. The transcripts will be used to write a qualitative analysis and therefore should contain time stamps and transcription symbols:
293.
294. hhhh- breath
295. ::: lengthening of word/sound
296. LOUDER SPEECH
297. ? rising intonation
298. underlined word- emphasis
299. (COUGH) -all vocalisms
300. @ laugh
301. @[email protected] laughing words
302. (.) brief pause
303. (..) longer pauses
