Have you started to experience the difficulties? And the difficulties have different levels.  In 2 Timothy 3, Apostle Paul shares about difficult times. There are the difficult times we face when we walk with God in the end times of faith. The most terrible thing a believer would do in this time is to fight one another, to speak evil of one another, to point and blame people for your mistakes, weaknesses etc.  </div> <div> </div> <div class="paragraph">If you claim to be spiritual or you claim to know God and in difficult times you are not gathering the sheep but scattering the sheep, you have deceived yourself. You are not the spiritual one that you claim to be. You are not the person you believe you are because the fruit is producing something else.  In difficult times the love of God, obedience to the word of God, watchfulness etc are the things that we engage ourselves in.   You learn from the world. The Lord said that the children of this world in their day are wiser than the children of kingdom. Now which nation will go to war in this pandemic when we already have a war to fight. As a world the pandemic brings different minds together to do one mission and that is to protect the people from the pandemic.  In the body of Christ do we think like that? Nations are sending aids to one another. The nations are fighting against the virus. What are you doing in the body of Christ? You are not the first one who fell off in tough times.   2 Timothy 3;   This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.  6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,  7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.  8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.  9 But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.  10 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,  11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.  12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.  14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;  15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.  The pandemic is hitting everyone hard. Churches are barely surviving. Many have not received their salaries. Many have stopped supporting the church. But many are faithfully supporting the church. Are you supposed to speak evil about their church or you are supposed to protect the believers? Are you supposed to be fighting a man of God this time or you are supposed to be praying for the ministers of gospel? Sometimes God’s people act so foolish as though the devil is wiser than God’s people. What are you doing in the body of Christ? If you are pastor, you do not even qualify to condemn other ministers of God.  Your spirituality is manifesting zero if you are so. Wake up in perilous times and stop complaining. Playing church is not going to work now. You have to be real with your faith. Assuming you are meditating is going to expose you to danger. You have to meditate. Assuming you are confessing the word of God is delusion. Thinking your prayer life is fine is deceit. You have to pray now. All the doctrines you talk about will be tested now.   Redeem the time you have in your hands. Reach out in love and stop tearing down the building. Stop wasting time instead of using time. Love one another, check and pray for one another. This is our day to answer. You should come to the realization that people are suffering. You must understand that love is greater than hate, self-righteousness, justification etc.   There are two evil in these perilous times to take note of:    1. It is not the devil but human being and their minds. Political leaders who are spreading wickedness and hate, who have long time ago planned evil such as these. So devil is not the problem in this pandemic. It is the people and their minds.      2.Your love for God in your heart is a problem this time. It must be as the scripture say otherwise it is a problem.      In this pandemic, people start to use other people’s blood to make money. For example, selling recycled face mask, increasing the price of essential commodities.   Be grateful to God for the opportunities you have that others don’t have in this time of pandemic. The only way you can be grateful to God is by showing your grateful heart by showing kindness to those who do not the opportunity that you have.  What are you doing to your fellow Christians? What are you doing to the church of Jesus? The pandemic is not as pandemic as its effect because in pandemic people die but its effect joblessness, loneliness, divided home, pain betrayal, wickedness etc are more pandemic. Don’t let you love grow cold. Don’t let your heart shrink.   Don’t be an instrument for devil. Set your mind on the kingdom of God and everything other thing will come. In difficult times, you must love and stand for the church. Truth prevails in every situation. If we were living perfectly according to the truth, it will survive now. Does it cut across your heart that God is a great physician and why is the healing of His mighty hand not manifesting now?   In the book of Acts, people carried faith and that is the only proof of their Christianity. Today, is faith the only proof of Christianity? If yes, then what shows your faith is genuine? Love shows that your faith is genuine. Galatians 5v6;” For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” Is your faith working by love? Believe that your faith doesn’t give you destruction because faith has the power to give whatever we desire.   Looking at the situation today how can a Christian be what Christ has left for us?  How can we witness that supernatural healing power of God glorifying God in this dark days?   John 13v34-35; “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."  In today’s world, people love the world as Christ loves us. He told us to love one another as He loved us.  The blood that is thicker than water has to necessarily be related to covenant, sacrifice etc. When Jesus was a man, He was limited but God gave him the highest name, so he wasn’t limited. After his death, burial and resurrection, he was crowned with highest name and Father gave Him the glory which He has with Him that Jesus’ name will be higher than any other name. Jesus was sent to His people and not to any other nation. And God had a plan that His people reach out to the world but that plan was dishonoured by His people. John 1v12-13; “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. “  Apostle Edmonds said from one corner of the world Africa, he believed Jesus. When he believed he became joint heir with Him which means equal rights. Blood is thicker than water means love is God. Human love can turn to hatred in one night. When you love based on the word of God,  you accept the people the way they are and you don’t try to change them even though you know they can live a better life and have more productive and successful life. Look at our Lord. He never forced anybody even though He knows we can live a righteous life. This is the spiritual reality.  Love of God is not like love of people. People find it difficult to accept and understand this. Unless people understand the ultimate nature of God created in the human spirit and submit to it, love can turn to hate overnight. The ultimate is the love of God. Jesus said in John 13v24’ “As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”  What makes missionaries “missionaries”? What makes them to live a life of sacrifice? It is not the knowledge but the love of Christ. John 3v16; “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” This is the hope, light for us.  1Cor 13 says everything without love is nothing. A new commandment – love another. If you assassinate someone’s character and have no trust, how can you preach the gospel without trust? He did not consider anything for us. He laid everything for us.  Love can be misrepresented but not for a long time. The single most important instruction for a believer is to love one another. Keep your prayer and give your love. Keep your fasting, keep your money, keep your words and give your love. If He said “By This” all men shall know you are my disciples. He didn’t say love others but said love one another.   Today churches are categorized by denominations. Why? Absence of “This”.  If honorarium becomes a determining factor to preach the gospel then where is the love? There is no evangelism or healing or prosperity greater than love. Protecting your name, you have displaced yourself from love.
