<content:encoded><![CDATA[Gallifrey One is in the midst of announcing our ‘second wave’ of guest confirmations for our upcoming February convention, The 36 Seasons of Gallifrey One: Stories Untold.  These announcements, which include a mix of returning and new guests, commenced on September 4 and will continue throughout the month; we’ll keep updating this page with our newest guest announcements below.
<h3>Miranda Raison   (announced September 12)</h3>
<img decoding="async" class="lazyload alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-30221" src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==" data-src="http://www.gallifreyone.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/09/2026-raison-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150">Miranda Raison appeared in two episodes of Doctor Who, “Daleks in Manhattan” and “Evolution of the Daleks” opposite David Tennant, before becoming a regular fixture in the Doctor Who universe as Constance Clarke, companion to the Sixth Doctor in Big Finish Productions’ long-running audio series. Raison is best known to UK audiences for playing Jo Portman in five seasons of Spooks (known in the US as MI5), Nellie Davenport in HBO’s Warrior, as well as Spotless, Vexed, Silk, Plus One, Dark Heart, Married, Single, Other, Sister Boniface Mysteries, Dirk Gently, Merlin, 24: Live Another Day, and Nightflyers. On stage she is known for originating the title role of Anne Boleyn in Howard Brenton’s eponymous play at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, originating the role of ‘Woman’ in The River by Jezz Butterworth at The Royal Court Theatre and playing ‘Hermione’ in Kenneth Branagh’s production of The Winter’s Tale opposite Branagh and Judi Dench. Raison is also a prolific voice actress for video games including Elden Ring, Anthem, Mass Effect: Andromeda and the Dragon Age universe. This is her first North American convention appearance.
<h3>Lisa Greenwood   (announced September 12)</h3>

On UK television, she played series regular Sissy Cooper alongside Ben Whishaw and Dominic West in two series of the Golden Globe and BAFTA nominated hit British BBC series The Hour. Greenwood has gone on to guest lead in many popular TV sitcoms, including as Shirley Dent in the award winning Call the Midwife for BBC and BBC America, the satirical comedy Hacks for Channel Four alongside Claire Foy and Celia Imrie, as well as appearances in EastEnders, Casualty, Doctors, Capsule, Wizard, The Bill, Parents of the Band, and Coming Up. Last with us in 2019, we are delighted to welcome her back in 2026.
<h3>Frazer Hines   (announced September 8)</h3>

Known for his work on Doctor Who as well as his long-running twenty-two-year role as Joe Sugden on the British soap Emmerdale (originally Emmerdale Farm), and his more recent appearances as Sir Fletcher Gordon on Outlander and in annual pantomimes and theatrical runs in the West End and all over Europe, Frazer has also been reprising his Jamie role for Big Finish on their many audio releases. More he’s had a cameo in the film Blood Coral and stars in the award-winning Sundown with Caitlin Blackwood, and Lost at Christmas with Sylvester McCoy. Beloved by fans and beloved by us, it just wouldn’t be Gallifrey One without him!
<h3>Jason Haigh-Ellery   (announced September 5)</h3>

In theatre, Jaosn has produced 16 West End shows and 26 touring shows including “Footloose”, “Fame”, “An Officer and a Gentleman” and the recent massively successful revival of “Bonnie and Clyde”. He is also a recipient of an Olivier Award for Best Comedy for “Jeeves and Wooster in Perfect Nonsense”. He is a director of fashion brand Marfa Stance and actors agency Intertalent. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Gallifrey One’s Discussion Panel Suggestion Form for our upcoming 2026 convention, The 36 Legends of Gallifrey One: Stories Untold is now online!  The form can be accessed via the following link:

The suggestion process is open to everyone, but please note that only ticketholders may attend or participate on these panels. Tickets are required for the event and we do NOT give free passes to anyone volunteering to be on a discussion panel.  Some helpful advice?
<ul>
<li>Use the following form to submit one panel topc or idea; if you have multiple topic suggestions, please fill out the form again for each. Panel topics should be submitted for discussion by attendees of the convention.</li>
<li>Avoid “generic” panel topics such as ‘favorite episode’ or anything that focuses solely on one era of the show. While we appreciate your input, we usually go for more complex panel topics.</li>
<li>Do not use this form to submit the following: presentations you want to make yourself; events you want to organize; panels that require you to be the primary or only speaker or presenter; or anything related to any guest participation (confirmed or requested). For any of these items, reach out to us directly via email to contactus@gallifreyone.com, not here.</li>
</ul>
By submitting your suggestion, you authorize Gallifrey One Conventions to use all or part of your idea for one or more of our upcoming events, including modifying any suggested panel topic/theme to fit our programming.

<content:encoded><![CDATA[A quick note for Gallifrey One attendees:
Thanks to all of you who participated in Gallifrey One’s hotel reservations event on May 9. If you did not get into the Marriott LAX, there are tons of hotels in the immediate vicinity, many within a 5 minute walk (details on our <a href="https://www.gallifreyone.com/reservations/">Hotel Accommodations</a> page) … but be sure to keep checking back via the reservations link, too!  We’ve provided that link on the Accommodations page for your access.
As always, our hotel event signifies the end of our regular convention business season, which begins with our ramp-up around October and runs until hotel day in May. That means, it’s finally time for our (sorely needed) annual summer break: four or five months to give us a chance to relax and regroup and plan for the future (as well as turn our attention to other things!)
But that doesn’t mean we’ll be completely quiet:
<ul>
<li>We’ll be popping in occasionally with new guest updates (you can likely expect several during the summer!)</li>
<li>Our Art Show — moving to a different, larger location with more artists than ever before — will open for space reservations mid-summer.</li>
<li>Our discussion panel suggestions call will be posted around the Labor Day holiday.</li>
</ul>
And of course, we will be back with regular updates this autumn, to kick things into gear for the first of our <a href="https://www.gallifreyone.com/2028finale/">final three</a> Gallifrey One conventions. We have some fantastic things in store for you next year that we cannot wait to share.
We hope you all have a great summer… be sure to keep checking our website and social media periodically, and purchase your tickets if you haven’t yet (remember: the earlier you do, the better able we are to plan ahead and book more guests!).

<content:encoded><![CDATA[We are thrilled to announce that MILLIE GIBSON will be making her North American Doctor Who convention debut at the 2026 Gallifrey One convention, The 36 Legends of Gallifrey One: Stories Untold, February 6-8, 2026 in Los Angeles. 
<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="lazyload alignright size-medium wp-image-30164" src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==" data-src="http://www.gallifreyone.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/2026-gibsonlarge-300x300.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300">Millie Gibson is widely known as companion Ruby Sunday, opposite Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor, on Doctor Who, first appearing in the 2023 Christmas special, “The Church on Ruby Road” and throughout the fourteenth series, to critical acclaim. Although departing as a regular from the series in the show’s two part finale, “The Legend of Ruby Road” and “Empire of Death,” she later returned during the fifteenth series’ story “Lucky Day” alongside Gatwa and Varada Sethu.  Born in Manchester, Gibson made her acting debut in 2017 as Indira Cave in the CBBC television series Jamie Johnson, then making appearances in the BBC One drama Love, Lies and Records and the three-part ITV drama Butterfly.  In 2019, she joined the cast of the popular soap opera Coronation Street as Kelly Neelan, playing the role until 2022 and winning the Best Young Performer award at the 2022 British Soap Awards.
Ms. Gibson will be appearing courtesy Showmasters Events, and will be joining us on Friday and Saturday of the convention.  Although she has appeared at official functions including San Diego Comic Con, Gallifrey One 2026 will be her very first Doctor Who focused convention.  We are thrilled to welcome her with some L.A. hospitality next February… and we hope you can join us!

Originally from Brisbane, Australia, Fielding worked in UK television until her retirement from acting in 1991, becoming an advocate for women in film and television and a theatrical agent. After an initial reticence to return to her famous Doctor Who role, she finally reprised the role of Tegan alongside her co-stars in 2006 on audio for Big Finish Productions, a relationship that continues to this day. More recently, Janet appeared in the final Doctor Who story starring Jodie Whittaker, “The Power of the Doctor” in October 2022.  She has been the project director and public face of the Project Motorhouse charity, which seeks to “produce youth projects which are designed to help local youths explore their potential.”
Appearing for her sixth Gallifrey One event, we are always delighted to welcome Janet to Los Angeles.

<h3>Daphne Ashbrook</h3>
<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="lazyload alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-30135" src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==" data-src="http://www.gallifreyone.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/2026-ashbrook-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150">Daphne Ashbrook portrayed Dr. Grace Holloway, a trauma surgeon whose life became entangled with Paul McGann’s newly regenerated Eighth Doctor in the 1996 Doctor Who TV movie.  An accomplished actress on stage and screen, Ashbrook appeared in many guest and recurring roles, including on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Knight Rider, The O.C., Our Family Honor, Fortune Dane, Hooperman, Riptide, Cold Case, CSI, Crossing Jordan, JAG, Murder She Wrote, Judging Amy, NCIS, Ghost Whisperer, Intruders and Hollywood Heights. She has appeared in multiple audio plays for Big Finish Productions, including their Doctor Who and Dark Shadows lines, and her memoir “Dead Woman Laughing” was published in 2012. Last with us nine years ago, before she left Los Angeles for the East Coast, we are delighted to welcome her back next year.
<h3>Yee Jee Tso</h3>
<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="lazyload alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-30140" src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==" data-src="http://www.gallifreyone.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/2026-tso-150x150.jpg" alt="" width="150" height="150">Actor, author and musician Yee Jee Tso played the key role of Chang Lee, gang member-turned-ally of the Doctor, in the 1996 Doctor Who TV Movie.  Tso’s many appearances on television and in film included appearances in Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Sliders, Battlestar Galactica, Arrow, Snowpiercer, Travelers, The 100, The Commish, Highlander, Impact, Da Vinci’s Inquest, They Wait, Intelligence, Madison and AntiTrust.  Tso has appeared in multiple Doctor Who audio productions from Big Finish.  He released a book, “Time and Spaces
A Photo Journal of Doctor Who Filming” in 2016, a photojournal and guided tour of the film’s production, an updated online version of which is on his website, yeejeetso.com; meanwhile, his music is available on Spotify and Apple Music.  Last with us fifteen years ago, we’re excited to see him again!

<content:encoded><![CDATA[In our first of several new guest updates expected over the next few weeks, we’re thrilled to announce that Anita Dobson will be joining us for our 2026 convention, The 36 Legends of Gallifrey One: Stories Untold.
<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="lazyload alignright wp-image-30125" src="data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==" data-src="http://www.gallifreyone.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/2026-dobson-announce.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300">Anita Dobson is a celebrated British actress and singer, best known to Doctor Who audiences as the character Mrs. Flood, the mysterious character who first appeared in “The Church on Ruby Road” and who has appeared in both of the first two seasons starring Ncuti Gatwa.  UK audiences know her primarily for the role of Angie Watts in the long-running BBC soap EastEnders, and she has also appeared in Split Ends, Red Dwarf, Casualty, Gigglebiz, Call the Midwife, Generation Z, Curfew, The Worst Witch, Doctors, Play Away, Darkness Falls and London Road, among many others.  She has also appeared on stage in Chicago, Gertrude in Hamlet and The Merry Wives of Windsor, and was nominated for the Olivier Award for Best Actress in the stage play Frozen.  Also known as Lady May, she is married to musician and physicist Sir Brian May.
Ms. Dobson will be appearing at Gallifrey One 2026 on our stage on Saturday and Sunday, in an appearance courtesy Showmasters Events.  In addition, she will also be participating in a VIP script reading session on Sunday morning, and guest receptions on both Friday & Saturday evenings (each available for an additional charge).

Peter Davison has been a fan favorite for decades, having originated the role of the Fifth Doctor in Doctor Who in 1981. Originally cast as the replacement for long-running star Tom Baker, Davison portrayed the Doctor for three seasons, including for the series’ 20th anniversary in 1983. Davison later reprised the role for Big Finish, a relationship that has continued to this day in dozens of audio adventures. Davison is also well known for having played varied roles such as Tristan Farnon on All Creatures Great and Small, David Braithwaite in At Home with the Braithwaites, Henry Sharpe on Law & Order: UK,  the BBC’s TV adaptation of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and other roles including in The Name of the Rose, Gentleman Jack, Liar, Life, Call the Midwife, Beyond Paradise and Good Omens. His Doctor Who pastiche The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot has been universally applauded since its release in 2013, and he returned to the role briefly in 2022 opposite Jodie Whittaker in “The Power of the Doctor.”  Davison was last with us in 2020 and we’re thrilled to have him back for his seventh Gallifrey One appearance.

Paul McGann portrayed the Eighth Doctor in the 1996 Doctor Who TV Movie, a role he later continued through audio with Big Finish Productions. To the astonishment of fans worldwide, McGann was also the headliner in “The Night of the Doctor,” a special mini-episode filmed in 2013, and saw him regenerate into his next incarnation – an event most everyone thought would never be seen on television. McGann is an actor, director and performer well known for his appearances in Withnail & I, Luther, Collision, Alien 3, The Monocled Mutineer and Hornblower.  More recently, he briefly returned to the role in 2022’s Doctor Who special “The Power of the Doctor,” while also making guest appearances in Annika, The Bletchley Circle, Ripper Street, The Musketeers and a long-running role on the soap Holby City, while he continues to appear in Big Finish’s Doctor Who audio dramas.  McGann made his first-ever convention appearance at Gallifrey One in 2004, and this will be his fourth appearance at our convention.
Both Mr. Davison and Mr. McGann will be joining us all weekend, taking part in stage interviews and autographs. Both gentlemen will also be doing photo opportunities in our Dealers Room directly with fans; details about this will be made available closer to the convention.
