The boat was carrying 98 tourists and 6 crew members.The official added that the boat experienced a sudden engine failure in the midst of a storm, strong winds, and high waves just before reaching the city. It collided with a coral rock after being hit by massive waves, causing water to leak into the boat, which led to its complete sinking.In a similar incident last December, 15 people were lost while two survived after a fishing vessel sank off the coast of Maluku province in eastern Indonesia.</p>
