23. ArchiQuant provides users with a simpler and more immediate way for Quantity Take Offs and Cost Estimation linked to the construction elements in an ArchiCAD Virtual Building.

63. Could you post a screenshot of the result you would like to achieve? Maybe screenshot you achieved in Revit so we can see how the same result can be obtained in ARCHICAD.
64.
65. Are you familiar with Component Schedules? I think you might want to do an Element Schedules where you should be doing a Component Schedule.

115. Having come over from Revit where take offs were a breeze, I realize that doing the same thing in ArchiCAD is....cumbersome....to put it gently. Is there a 3rd party add on that anyone can recommend which makes this task easier?

128.
129. I absolutely LOVE the feature (since 19, maybe?) where you can have the schedule fold over to multiple columns... so if my schedule is 5 cells wide x 100 cells long, I can fold it to 2 sets of 5 cells wide x 50 long (each)...
130.
131.
132.
133. But, I have noticed that some setting will force this to REVERT back to original 5 x 100 after re-opening the file... (it may happen without the re open, but that's when I notice it the most)...
134.
135.
136.
137. Is it because I have the FIT FRAME TO DRAWING checked?
138.
139.
140.
141. It's frustrating because PUBLISHING means I've got to go and verify ALL my schedules to see if they've reverted...
142.
143.

168.
169.
170.
171. ALSO... I'd like to see the schedule boxes work like the LAYOUT GRID..
172.
173. Especially for GRAPHIC Boxes (window elevations, for example)....
174.
175.
176.
177. So if I set up a min. box width, would be nice if windows longer would force a 2nd box... Right now they just push into the next box...
178.
179.
180.
181. It just never fails that I'll have 30 windows 3' wide and 1 or 2 at 10' or 12'...

203. One thing to check is that your zones have a height and are not set to zero.
204.
205. I just tried (I use different doors to you - my own objects).
206.
207. I had zone heights of zero and schedule only showed the 'from zone'.
208.
209. I adjusted the zone height (had to be at least half the door height for some reason) and then the 'to zone' started working as well.
210.
231. Hi All!
232.
233.
234.
235. I am Daniel Kovacs from GRAPHISOFT HQ Technical Support. Let me add my 2 cents to this topic.
236.
237.
238.
239. Regarding the original issue, as I can see You have run into 2 different issues:
240.
241. - smithmm1's problem was that his ARCHICAD 17 Zone Stamps haven't migrated to 21. That's because there were changes in the Zone Stamps and their migration in earlier versions, that made direct migration of certain stamps impossible, so it was cut and replaced with migration library parts. But in general, the migration of Zone Stamps work.
242.
243. - Rupert Auerbach's original problem with his zones was a known bug we are currently working on fixing. The problem is that currently in 21, if the door/window is inside the zone, it will not be able to list the zone it is related to, only if the zone touches the edge of the wall it is in.
244.
245.
246.
247. An additional thing that Rupert Auerbach mentioned was that in Schedule Schemes, the logic of the "Hotlink Module" criteria is reversed in ARCHICAD 21. This appears to be a bug in 21 indeed, so I have let the developers know about it. Thanks for pointing it out to us.
248.
249.
250.
251. Best Regards

273. Hello,
274.
275.
276.
277. I have two rooms shown on the plan (please see the attached image). There is a door between the zones opening into the Zone 2.
278.
279. I am scheduling the doors and have identified two fields in my schedule ´
280. From Zone´
281. and ´
282. To Zone´
283. . I would like to see it showing ´
284. From Zone 1´
285. and ´
286. To Zone 2´
287. , however my schedule shows ´
288. From Zone 2´
289. and does not even identify where it is opening, I just have a blank space there.
290.
291. I have tried to readjust zones, make sure they are all stretched to wall faces. Tried to tick and untick 'door belongs to the zone into which it opens´
292. box, however no luck, nothing in my schedule changes.
293.
294.
295.
296. Is there something specific I am missing? (I have only be working in Archicad for few months!)
297.
298.
299.
300. Any help would be appreciated!
301.
302.
303.
304. Many thanks
