<content:encoded><![CDATA[ The animated spy-fiction series <a href="https://www.themarysue.com/totally-spies-season-7-release-date-confirmed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Totally Spies</a> will return to television on May 12, 2024. Season 7 of the show was earlier set to release in 2023, but a delay pushed it to 2024. A key point to note is that the series will premiere on the aforementioned date in France, and a release date for the U.S. has not been confirmed yet. So far, all seasons except season 6 have run on Cartoon Network in the U.S., and season 7 will return to Cartoon Network and the streaming service MAX, once it gets a U.S. release date. The announcement or reveal of an exact date will depend on licensing, but while it took a year for season 6 to arrive, the wait is unlikely to be that long with the show back on Cartoon Network. Watching the anime in Japanese dub during Toman’s fights with other gangs was an epic experience, but you probably wish you could watch the season without having to read subtitles. If you’re still waiting for the English dub of Tokyo Revengers season three, you’ll have to wait even longer. The series was acquired by Disney+, and they haven’t made any announcements about an English dub. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Even going into 2024, <a href="https://www.themarysue.com/most-anticipated-anime-2024/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dragon Ball Daima was already one of the most anticipated shows of the year</a>. As the anniversary celebration of arguably the most beloved series in all of anime, it was bound to be a headliner for the whole year, but when will we actually get to see it? But after Dragon Ball creator<a href="https://www.themarysue.com/what-happened-to-akira-toriyama/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Akira Toriyama’s sudden and tragic death</a> in the beginning of March, Daima has taken on a more profound veneer. 2024 was very much the year of Toriyama. <a href="https://www.themarysue.com/most-anticipated-spring-2024-anime/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Sand Land, an adaptation of one of Toriyama’s post-Dragon Ball works</a>, is currently airing on Disney+. Toriyama was also slated to give a speech for winning the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2024. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Musical theatre fans have their favorite musicals. They can bring you joy, make you cry, or just be that escape from the world you need. I would not label the musical Cabaret as any of those things, but it will change the way you think about the world at large. The new production starring Eddie Redmayne and Gayle Rankin opened in New York City, and I had the pleasure of attending the show with the quest of capturing what going to the Kit Kat Club feels like. For musicals like Cabaret, you are supposed to be brought into this world and lulled into a sense of security before the world comes crashing down around you. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ It is not easy to make a love triangle feel fresh and new, but tennis drama Challengers manages to craft a compelling narrative that gets its hooks in you and refuses to let go. That is all thanks to Justin Kuritzkes’ characters and story he has crafted (and Luca Guadagnino’s vision). The film feels like a tennis match in many ways, including in how these characters talk to each other. Kuritzkes had to balance that in his writing and he said it was one of his “guiding principles” throughout the process. Warners Bros. and Fathom Events are partnering for a special three-night event this summer, where fans can watch the extended AND remastered versions of Peter Jackson’s epic fantasy saga. Remastered in 2020 for 4K Ultra HD, Jackson’s trilogy will play over three consecutive nights. The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) hits theaters on June 8, followed by The Two Towers (2002) on June 9, and The Return of the King(2003) on June 10.
