  45. <description><![CDATA[<p>The first R! exhibition featured the work of Wachter and Jud, and ran from 4 November until 2 December 2017. The exhibition investigated how the digital communications society is also based on a world-view flourishing on exclusion and non-integration. The idea of a borderless and free exchange, which creates itself and even creates its own structures, has remained only an idea of art. Specific individual world views are lost at large in a communicative common world domain.</p>]]></description>

  257. <title>Respublika! Выставка и фестиваль о демократии</title>

  260. <p>8 декабря 2017 года в Центре искусств <span lang="en">NeMe Arts Centre</span> в Лимассоле открывается художественная выставка «<span lang="en">Participation Matters</span>» (Значение содействия). На выставке представлены 14 арт-проектов «<span lang="en">Respublika!</span>». Проект, проходит под руководством бельгийского профессора Нико Карпентьера. В этот день, 8 декабря, начинается неделя фестиваля «<span lang="en">Respublika!</span>». В течение этой недели фестиваля в Лимассоле и Никосии будут проводиться 15 различных мероприятий, а именно: просмотр фильмов, обсуждения художников, мастер-классы и выступления.</p>

  262. <p>«<span lang="en">Respublika!</span>» &#8211; это художественный проект, целью которого является дискуссия на тему демократии и содействия ей. Мы используем две стратегии: Мы даем возможность высказаться художникам, которые хотят выразить, что такое демократия и содействие ей в современном мире. Кроме того, в нем освещается серия коллективных произведений искусства, где художники работают вместе с обычными (и не очень обычными) людьми для создания искусства.</p>

  264. <p>Куратор Нико Карпентье, живший и работавший на Кипре, говорит: «Эта выставка и фестиваль дают всем участникам прекрасную возможность увидеть, насколько сложна и широко распространена демократия, и сколько разных способов существует для того, чтобы стать ее частью, чтобы способствовать расширению прав и возможностей людей».</p>

  278. <description><![CDATA[<p>On 8 December 2017, the art exhibition “Participation Matters” opens in the NeMe Arts Centre (<span class="caps">NAC</span>), in Limassol. On display are 14 art projects of the Respublika! project, curated by the Belgian professor Nico Carpentier. On the same day, 8 December, the one-week Respublika! Festival will start. During this Festival week, 15 different events will take place in Limassol and Nicosia, combining film screenings, artist&#8217;s talks, workshops and performances.</p>]]></description>
