  99. <description><![CDATA[<p>The Battle Harbour National Historic Trust has two of the last paired Marconi Towers to be found anywhere.</p>
  100. <p>We are currently in a competition to win $50K to have funds to fix them up and make sure they stand for another 100 years. </p>
  101. <p>The iconic Battle Harbour Marconi Towers, are a symbol of Labrador's connection to the world! Originally built in 1906 and rebuilt in 1931, this Marconi station transmitted groundbreaking messages including Admiral Peary's North Pole expedition in 1909.</p>
