53.

For many people, maintaining a healthy financial plan can be more difficult than expected. That is why it is important that you are able to manage your personal finances. If you keep reading, you will learn a lot of great advice on how to deal with your finances for the rest of your life. After gathering information on the money you make and spend each month, you can piece together a workable budget. First, determine how much you and spouse bring home every month after taxes. You need to include every source of income, not just wages and salary. When you put your budget together, you should make sure that you do not spend more money than you bring in each month. You should look at all of your expenses when trying to come up with a budget. This list should include all regular payments and occasional payments. Don’t forget car costs that may not happen every month. Don’t forget to include anything you spent for entertainment reasons, such as food, storage space, rentals, or other irregular expenses. Last, don’t forget that weekly coffee you get, the tip you give your hairdresser or the cost of your babysitter. The little things add up. When you have a detailed list of all the money you’ve spent, it will help you create a better budget. After making you sure you have a clear picture of your personal finances, including those small, daily expenses, take a hard look at the various items and see what you can eliminate. For example, instead of stopping at your local coffee shop, bring coffee from home. Look for things like this to remove so that you can start working on a long-term plan.Update and repair your electrical and water systems to reduce your utility bills. Replacing old or worn windows with weatherized ones can drop your electric bill significantly. Reduce your bill by using a water tank that heats water only as it is used. Hire a plumber to find and repair any leaky pipes to keep your water bill as low as possible. Wait for your dishwasher to get full before you use it.Try to use only appliances that have smart energy modes. If your appliance lights up, you should unplug it.Many home improvements can pay for themselves over time. If you replace an old roof or upgrade flimsy insulation, you can net yourself serious cost savings on your energy bill. These guidelines will make it easy to save money by carefully weighing your monthly expenses against your projected income. Purchasing newer appliances may cost you some money now, but they will ultimately save you money over time because they will lower your utility bills.

 90.

What are Lensbaby Lenses? These are camera lenses for photographers who lacks the cash to purchase a top professional lens. The Lensbabies system has the potential to produce great photography results. The Lensbaby lenses are alternatives that are not to be missed! Lensbaby lenses are cheap and fun substitutes. This article will reveal just how any photographer can obtain absolutely stunning photography effects with the entry-level Muse from the Lensbabies system. This is a gadget that is indeed essential to photographers who are into creative photography.Creative Photography Tips #1 – What Is A Lens Baby?Lensbaby lenses are simply cheap plastic optics that are attached onto movable bellows. They have fixed apertures. What a lens baby does is that it creates dreamy effects. When photographers use Lensbaby lenses, the results of the photographs will not be pin-sharp ones. Nonetheless, whatever is lost in the sharpness of the image, there will be more gains in terms of quirkiness.Creative Photography Tips #2 – Slightly Angle The LensWhen it comes to focusing, photographers will normally find the need to squeeze and pull on the lenses to be tricky. Try to angle it slightly so that it gives creative outcomes, yet unpredictable results that have blurred edges. It is somewhat similar to a tilt-and-shift lens that is cheap.Creative Photography Tips #3 – About The ExposureSince the aperture is fixed, it will not be recognized by the metering system. Hence, photographers are required to shoot in Manual mode.To grasp hold of a good exposure, make use of the histogram. Take a preview through the viewfinder. Squeeze and pull the lens to get yourself a cool effect.Creative Photography Tips #4 – Other AccessoriesThere is a whole range of Lensbaby products that offer high quality and control, quite a number of these Lensbaby lenses are better than the ‘Muse’ we talked about in this blog post. There are plenty other accessories such as the Fisheye, Pinhole adapters and soft focus.

 105.

Do you want to know the secrets of successful internet marketers? Successful internet marketers are like professional athletes. They are the “crème de la crème” of the internet marketing world. Even though they may not seem famous and highly acclaimed as you think they should, they’re still the best of what they do. If you ever hear of someone making $2,000 per month online, and you look at them as if they are amateurs – you’re besides yourself.Do you know how hard it is to make $2,000 per month online? Some people would sacrifice their left pinky toe to have $2,000 per month automatically coming in. That’s why the failure rate of businesses online is so high. But successful internet marketers know that there is massive work involved, and you can’t look at internet marketing as if it’s a lottery drawing. Most people online who have been trying to make money for years believe that if they can get the best copywriter… the best product… or the best marketing consultant, that they can make $10,000 in month instantly. That’s just not true. For 98% of the people selling online, their chances of making $10,000 in one month will indeed come from the lottery. But successful internet marketers know that success online is not a “hit or miss” kind of thing. As a successful internet marketer myself, I can tell you that true success comes from planning. You have to know your numbers, you have to be diligent and persistent with your marketing, and your paid advertising has to make sense – and also bring in high quality traffic. I want to share with you why this is important, and why successful internet marketers have all of these things in common. Take a look at this:1) Successful internet marketers take their work seriouslyNow I just mentioned above that successful people online know their numbers, are persistent, and know that their marketing makes sense. Because of this, they plan ahead with a daily marketing agenda that will help them to reach all 3 of these goals all at the same time. Let me ask you: Before you invested a dime into paid advertising, have you ever took a look at your competition and investigated the nuts and bolts of their operation?Sometimes to be a successful internet marketer, you have to play customer. You have to buy your competitors’ product, see how good the product is, and take notice at how they market to you over and over again to get more sales from you. If you want to copy your competitors’ and have the successful business that they have, you can’t just do some of the things that they are doing… you have to do ALL of the things that they are doing. If they have a online help desk system, you need that. If they have a phone support team, you need that. If they’re selling online as well as offline to prospects and customers, you need to do that also. Don’t think that these people just woke up one day, threw up an ad an somewhere and instantly became successful. It doesn’t work that way. Most people who try to copy their competitors have no idea what they’re doing. So plan ahead and have all of these things ready to go the next time you want to copy a rival in your niche to make money.2) Successful internet marketers have a routineDo you have a daily marketing routine, or do you wake up everyday browsing other peoples’ websites and reading their site? You will never get anywhere by operating like this. A lot of people do this simply because they have no idea of what to do! They’ve read countless books, courses, emails, articles and still have no clue as of what to do NEXT. What you need to do is develop an internet marketing routine that can be executed daily like clockwork. This means that you should go and create yourself a daily marketing plan on a simply text file on your computer. And every single day when you wake up – or when you normally do your marketing – follow each step exactly daily. This is essential because you’re more likely to make money and see results of your business if you write a plan out first, and then visually follow it everyday. So yes, the internet marketer that’s making $2,000 per month online has a daily marketing routine. If you were to take a look at the inside of their operations, you would see tons of content being produced, ads tracked and analyzed, free marketing being implemented, and a time span of when all of this is supposed to be done. You don’t want to spend 12 hours per day in front of your computer trying to do every trick in the world.A lot people enjoy buying “bulk submitters” because they think it will simplify their marketing and bring them massive instant results. And more than likely, I’m pretty sure you’ve tried your hand at these bulk submitters also. But these bulk submitters won’t do anything for you, plus… they’re not 100% automatic! Even though they advertise that they are!Don’t rely on products like these to do your marketing. It won’t get you anywhere and it won’t give you the results that you’re looking for. And it won’t get you the results because websites and companies are constantly cracking down on these idiotic products, and banning people from their platform who get caught using them. If you’re submitting low quality work and information everyday, how will that benefit your targeted prospect? Why should they view you as an obvious expert in your niche if you’re putting out low quality information? Does that make sense to you? It sure doesn’t to me.If you want to be a successful internet marketer, you need to take these words to heart. Change the way that you are doing things and start implementing all of the CORRECT advice that you read. Don’t do it half-way. Do it exactly as shown online with what is said, shown, and read. This way you will know that you did each technique 100% correctly, and you did the best that you could.

 120.

Branding is one of the most vital components of any commercial enterprise, large or small, retail or b2b. A powerful brand method gives you a significant advantage in increasingly more aggressive markets. However what precisely does “branding” mean? How does it have an effect on a small business like yours?Basically, your brand is your promise to your buyer or client. It tells them what they can anticipate out of your products and services, and it differentiates your product/service offerings from your competition. Your logo is derived from who you are, who you want to be and who people believe you to be.Are you the innovative loner in your industry? Or the experienced, reliable one? Is your product the overly-priced, top quality option, or the under-priced, high-quality choice? You can’t be each, and you can’t be all things to all everyone. Who you are should be determined by what your primary customers need are and what they need you to be.The bedrock of your brand is your logo. Your website, packaging, and promotional productsâ\x80\x8a\x80\x8aall of which must incorporate your logoâ\x80\x8a\x80\x8aspeak to your brand.Brand strategy & equityYour brand strategy is how, what, where, when and to whom you propose to communicate and delivering on your brand messages. Where you promote is part of your brand strategy. Your distribution channels also are a part of your brand strategy. And what you communicate, both visually and verbally are a part of your brand strategy, as well.Consistent, strategic branding leads to a firm brand equity, thus, the value created to your employer’s services or products that allows you to charge extra for your brand than what similar, unbranded products would command. The most apparent example of that is Pepsi vs. an unknown brand of soda. Due to the fact, Pepsi has constructed a powerful logo brand equity, it can charge more for its productâ\x80\x8a\x80\x8aand customers will pay that better charge. The delivered value inherent to brand equity traditionally comes in the form of perceived personal attachment. As an example, Addidas affiliates its merchandise with superstar athletes, in the hopes that customers will switch their emotional attachment from the athlete to the product. For Addidas, it’s now not just the shoe’s characteristics that promote the shoe.Defining your brandDefining your brand is similar to a journey of business identity search. It can be tough, time-intensive, and uncomfortable. It calls for, nothing short of answers to the following questions:What is your company’s objective? What are the advantages and characteristics of your services or products?
121. What is your existing and prospective customers perception of your business?
122. What traits do you want them to affiliate with your business?
123. Do the research. Research the wishes, habits, and wants of your existing and potential customers. Don’t depend upon what you think they assume. Get into their minds and know what they think.Because defining your brand and growing a brand approach can be complicated, consider taking advantage of the information provided by a nonprofit small-business consulting organization or a small business improvement institution.Once you’ve narrowed down your brand, how do you spread the word? Here are some easy, time-tested suggestions:Create an extremely good logo. Place it anywhere and everywhere.Write down your brand messaging. What are the key messages you need to communicate about your brand? Every worker needs to be aware of your brand attributes.Incorporate your brand. Branding extends to each aspect of your businessâ\x80\x8a\x80\x8athe way you answer your phones, what you or your salespeople wear on sales calls, your e-mail signature, the whole lot.Create a “voice” for your business that reflects your brand. This voice must be applied to all written communication and included inside the visual imagery of all substances, online and offline. Is your brand approachable? Be outgoing. Is it formal? Be less formal. You get the gist.Develop a tagline. Write a memorable, significant and concise statement that captures the essence of your brand.Design templates and create brand standards in your advertising materials. Use the identical coloration scheme, logo placement, look and sense all throughout. You do not need to be elaborate, just consistent.Stay true to your brand. Clients may not return to you or refer you for future business if you waiver from that brand promise.Be consistent. This suggestion was intentionally reserved for last because it involves all of the above and is the most essential suggestion I can give you. If you’re unable to consistent, any efforts at creating your brand will fail.

 139.

One of the main characteristics of wealthy people is that they have confidence in their ability to make decisions, in their purpose, and in their personal finance budget. Confidence, self confidence specifically, is a learnable skill, and to become strong in confidence is to understand how to place the mind in the right state. With mind and money aligned, wealthy people are much happier than those who only chase money as an end goal.Confidence: The Four States of Thought Autopilot Thinking is when people are over familiar with routine decisions, and can quickly form assumptions about what is expected – like when using credit cards in the store, or driving home along a well known route. This is an external thinking state and can be harmful. Another harmful state is the internal, critical voice, which so often tells people that they are an imposter – that they “can’t do” or “aren’t good enough”There are two helpful thinking states which balance this – the internal voice is the thinking state where the mind assesses options, while the external helpful state is the engaged state, where the mind is concentrating on solving problems. The objective in managing money, in assessing the personal finance statement, and especially if financial planning has been ignored and money is a problem, is to move from a harmful state to a helpful state, by working out where all the money goes, balanced against when it all comes in. Reflecting and evaluating alternative choices brings confidence back into the personal finance budget process.Confidence: Why Negative People are so DestructiveNegative people are destructive because they can suck out the enjoyment of life from all the people around them. These people suffer from afflictive emotions, they become jealous, angry, fearful. They are critical, condescending and demeaning. These people are the opposite of what they seem because they are not at all confident, and project their toxicity as a protection against being touched by the people around them.In seeking to build confidence as a skill, these people need to be avoided, or managed because they will do everything to precipitate doubt in those around themConfidence: Strategies to overcome Doubt The secrets to overcoming doubt, are to become confident in taking action and making decisions with personal finance. By moving away from self consciousness, by deliberately tuning out, focussing on something else, concentrating on financial goal setting, budgeting and forecasting, people can grow confidence because they can see a future to pursue, which takes attention away from self – building confidence.Another way to overcome doubt is to picture the situation as a movie in the mind. Then make it black and white, then dim the picture before finally moving backwards as if leaving a cinema, so the image gets smaller and distant. Finally, positive thought and positive action both dispel doubts – so doing something active, and surrounding yourself with positive people works too.Confidence: The difference between a Public victory and a Private victory. In growing the skill of confidence, it is necessary to experience both private victories and public victories. Private victories are where outcomes are focussed on the personal results of being proactive, thinking about the end game before starting, and then choosing the first steps to take. In matters of personal finance planning, it is important to work with a personal finance spreadsheet, or a family budget worksheet.Better still to subscribe to a personal finance budget software, preferably online for ease of use. The outcome is to be clear and precise about the budget decisions to be taken. Public victories are where attention turns to the outside world, where it is important to see the win for both sides, to understand first the consequences of spending money, and then to involve the family or those around you in a team effort to curtail wasteful spending.Personal finance online software allows for this behavioural victory, the growth of confidence in managing money and in forming new personal finance budgets.

 155.

People who want to be financially secure have to use the best financial advices possible. To achieve this goal it is a good idea to use help from personal finance online options. Whether it is offline or online, personal finance can be managed better using software options. Only the browser is needed if online management of the personal finance is required. There are also different types of applications available that can be downloaded easily. These applications can be used effectively to control and manage personal finance. It also allows better privacy for information. Whatever option is selected, an ideal digital manager for the finance should offer features that are easy to navigate and allow proper management of different types of financial aspects such as future retirement plans, investments, taxes and accounts.Sites That Can Help in Money ManagementSafety is a big concern when it comes to using online options. The services offered without any cost at the money management websites like Mint, MoneyStrands and Buxfer. Even though free services offered by these sites give some doubt to people, in fact the companies are genuine and legitimate service providers. The technology of screen scraping used to get the bank accounts picture are very secure. It does not allow any alteration in the part of a financial transaction. While these useful services may be available for free at these sites, the users may have to go through some advertisements to access the required information.Initially retirement plans, investments and personal finance information from banks are requested. Using reports and graphs a clearer view emerges after all the data from different sources are categorized properly. The current status of the finances become obvious. From the available reviews the Mint is considered to be one of the best personal finance online service providers. It offers comprehensive tools and a wide range of data to its users. Account information for almost a year can be accessed after the data is retrieved from other banks. The financial information is accurately averaged by the Mint when it snags such a long history from the banking websites. This results in better and more accurate financial advices. One negative aspect about Mint is that setting up the initial account can take some time at the site. When it comes to accurate transactions categorization then Moneystrands is somewhat better to the Mint. However, less banking sites are associated with the Moneystrands so users should expect limited information. On the other hand, with the beautiful graphics and ease of use Buxfer is very fast in providing the required information.

 179.

More than a few small businesses are putting on an online presence, and are making web sites for themselves. If you are serious about your online small business, there is some good online stuff about small business web hosting that can truly benefit any body new to using the internet to help their business. Many companies offer small business web hosting. Some packages are free of charge, while some can run you up 1,000 dollars. Some come with a pre-designed website built by a professional while some come with only hosting. To ensure that you get the package that meets all of your needs, make sure you do your research before purchasing a package.Reliability of the affordable web hosting service that you purchase is the most important thing when looking for small business web hosting. You could be losing lots of money if your website is always going off line. When you research the small business web hosting companies, make sure to check how much downtime the company has had in the past. For my money, I make my own small business sites using WordPress blogging software from inexpensive web hosting plans that include it for free. Just make sure to make a budget for small business web hosting. The package that you chose has to be well within your budget. Many of the web hosting reviews on this site are perfect for small businesses, and can be had for less than 7 dollars per month. With a set budget, you will be prepared to make the best decision when it comes time to purchase a small business web hosting package. But will eventually need to make the decision to either build a whole separate site, or build one that partners with the small business web hosting company. It will cost more money to have one that partners with the small business host. However, there is a wide range of prices so keep that in mind while you look for the right option for your business.Quality of the service is one of the most important things. As a business, you don’t want to waste money on cheap service that will let you down. Bear this in mind also as you are looking at small company web hosting companies.Remember all of these things as you research small business web hosts and you will make the best choice. Remember to really get an idea of how reliable the service is or you will lose profit fixing all the problems that come along with cheap web hosting. The quality of the small business web hosting company is the most important thing.

 217.

If you’re in sales, then you’ve probably heard all sorts of advice, from “don’t oversell” to “focus on solving problems.” However, one of the best pieces of advice that many forget is to smile! After all, your smile is one of the first features people notice about you, and it plays an essential role in the first impression you make. Keep reading to learn all about the importance of a smile in sales (as well as how cosmetic dentistry can help!).

 218.
Smile: Your Sale Depends on It!

 219.
Knowing your product and knowing your audience are key in sales. However, you don’t get far if your client doesn’t trust you or believe you. That’s why it’s so important to make a good first impression! Here are a few ways a smile can help:

 220.
• Smiling is more powerful than you might think – One study found that smiling has the same effect on our brain as $25,000 in cash!

 221.
• Smiling communicates your state of mind – Smiling is a non-verbal cue that you are happy to be where you are, that you are confident in your product, and that you are ready and willing to help.

 222.
• Smiling creates a ripple effect of positivity – Have you ever seen a friend yawn and done the same? Or seen someone take a sip of water and immediately realized you’re thirsty? Thanks to the mirroring neurons in our brains, we naturally mimic the behavior of those around us.

 223.
But What If You Don’t Like Your Smile?

 224.
If you don’t like your smile, don’t worry – that’s where cosmetic dentistry comes in. Whether you’re struggling with misaligned, misshapen, cracked, or otherwise imperfect teeth, your smile goals aren’t out of reach. The first step? Scheduling an appointment with a skilled cosmetic dentist. For both my father and myself, providing high-quality, personalized, and judgment-free dentistry is a passion. There’s truly nothing better than seeing someone walk out of our office with a dazzling, confident smile! So, don’t wait to make your dream smile a reality – it could make all of the difference when it comes to your personal and professional life!

 252.

1999 was probably the worst year of my professional life. Unsatisfying office jobs followed by long periods of unemployment and claiming benefits. I’d also missed out on an opportunity to train as a Microsoft certified programmer because I was unable to find a placement. The dream of making my way into the world of employment had turned into an absolute nightmare, at times I felt like a total failure.

 253.
Towards the end of 1999 an opportunity arose for me to work in a casino. I’d always loved card games after seeing the glitz and glamour of casinos in James Bond movies. Dissatisfied with life in Northern Ireland, at the age of just 20, I packed a couple of suitcases and ended up going to the Isle of Man to train as a croupier (casino dealer) in January 2000. 18 months later I was working on my first cruise ship, and 18 months after that I was boarding the QE2 (the most famous ship of them all) to do a world cruise.

 254.
For a young man from a housing estate in Antrim, Northern Ireland this was beyond even my wildest dreams. On a ferry from Belfast to Liverpool in 1997, I’d once seen a pontoon table and croupier and dreamt what it may be to work as a casino dealer on the high seas.

 255.
Everything aboard the QE2 was as you would expect, starting with Captain Ron Warwick, who looked exactly what the captain of the QE2 should look like (Google the name if you don’t believe me). Passenger facing crew were immaculate in their appearance. I could probably have shaved with the crease on my pressed tuxedo shirts, and on a number of occassions when I had been sunburnt in port, I could feel the creases cutting into my tender skin as I dealt the cards that evening in the casino.

 256.
The great thing for croupiers on cruise ships is that they only work when the ship is in international waters, in port, the casino must close, and casino staff are free to do pretty much whatever they want. Casino staff have a cabin steward who cleans their cabin and takes away their dirty laundry and brings it back fresh each day. We did a 103 day world cruise which included stops in places like Hong Kong, Sydney, Cape Town, Hawaii, Mauritius, Nagasaki, Tahiti and Singapore to name a few. I managed to do some amazing excursions like diving in the great barrier reef, quad biking in the Namibian desert, and dining in all sorts of fine restaurants, trying delicacies like Springbok, Kangaroo, Crocodile and Kobe beef. We made stops in 5 continents, crossed the equator and even experienced living a Tuesday in consequetive days when we crossed the world timeline. Imagine that, you go to bed on Tuesday night, wake up the following morning and its Tuesday again, but this was far from groundhog day.

 257.
The role in the casino was not about taking passengers’ money like in a land-based casino, it was about providing them with fun and entertainment. The passengers were friendly and pleasant, many of them being extremely successful people (I understand the lowest cabin cost for a world cruise on the QE2 was about $50,000 in 2003). A lot of the passengers had never played in a casino and were fascinated to learn and experience the one onboard. Just getting to know some of these people was an experience in itself, and a large part of the role in the casino was simply to entertain them whilst they were in the casino.

 258.
There were also celebrity passengers. We would finish work and go to the crew/members bar where we would have guest entertainers like the late Des O’Connor and the magician, the late Paul Daniels down to have a drink. God bless them both.

 259.
Was my job the best job in the world? Maybe not for everyone, but it was beyond even my wildest dreams and the 6 month experience, as well as the amazing people I met will be something I treasure forever. I was very lucky to have lived this experience and will always be incredibly grateful for it.

 260.
Many years have passed since then and I’ve always missed the buzz of casinos which is how Fun 21 Casino Hire was created in 2021. My celebrities now are anyone who hires the No Money Fun Casino that I provide for parties and celebrations, and I aim to give the same experience that you would expect onboard the QE2.

 287.

Avoiding a bad home in advance.

 288.
Have you ever had a client who was a buyer “in today’s market” make an offer, get the offer accepted, only to back out after a bad home inspection? Well.. in order to limit this there are some things you as a Realtor can look for while showing the home to your client that are definitely red flags, and at least could be brought up so the client isn’t surprised by a bad report. As a home Inspector and owner of SafeHome Home Inspections (www.safetulsa.com) the easiest thing to look at for somebody who is not trained is a bad electric panel.

 289.
A “Bad” electric panel in the eyes of any home inspector means “unsafe” or less safe than other panels. It has been determined by studies, lawsuits, etc that these panels are not desirable.

 290.
Here is a list of bad panels that are very common in the Tulsa area. These panels are likely present in your local market as well, and every or nearly every home inspector will call them out in the report as in need of further evaluation for replacement: Zinsco, FPE (Federal Pacific Electric) Stab-lok, Challenger. These are the most common “bad” panels that I run into here in Tulsa.

 291.
You don’t need to do very much work to identify these panels, oftentimes they are labeled somewhere in plain sight. A word of caution though, the access door is fairly easy to open most of the time but you should never open the deadpan front cover, It’s dangerous and would require tools anyway and you might as well leave something for the inspector to do .

 292.
I could go into detail about why these electric panels are dangerous and the different studies that have been done about them over the years but why bore you with that? If you want more information you can do a quick google search on any of these brands or look up one of the main studies by Mechanical and Materials engineer Dr. Jesse Aronstein titled “Hazardous FPE circuit breakers and panels: Information for Homeowners, Inspectors, and Electricians”

 293.
While you may not have to avoid a home like this completely, letting the buyer know in advance will at least prepare them so there isn’t a shock on the report, and who knows, maybe a seller will still be willing to change out the panel “in today’s market”. If so, that’s a major win for the customer and a great value to your client.
